Hi! cguro this topic has been a repeat for a lot of times na... tamad lng ako mghanap ng topics haha!
anyway, there are so many variations of either 2-cycle or 3 cycle methods. I originally use pochmann's old method (with T, J and Y perms), where the execution solves 1 piece at a time with its correct orientation. lately ive been trying out hybrids - incorporating pochmann's method with 3-cycle with the implementation of orientation phase.
what i do is orient all pieces, use UBR as a buffer for corners, UR for edges, then execute each step as -> setup corner to UFR, setup edge to either UF, UL or UB, then use either T perm (for the edge setup at UL) or J perm ( edge either at UB or UF). it is essentially a 2 cycle method but it cycles 2 pairs at the same time, so it is (supposedly) as fast as a 3 cycle method.
for me, the downside is sometimes it is hard to remember the memorizations. like for example we use the memo method from macky and got 123458 for the corners, and 92854317 for edges, then what i need to do is setup corner 1 and put it sa UFR ( in this case F2 D' F2), then locate where ive put edge 9 (for me, my 9 is DF). in the setup move from the corner, there was a D' involved, so clearly my edge 9 is transferred to DL, so for simpler purposes i bring it to UL by a simple L2, execute a T perm, bring back the edge with L2, then bring back corner 1 with F2 D F2.
i got the idea from pjkcubed (or something). what's nice about this is that there will never be a case of parity. ever what's hard about this is that you have to constantly switch to your list of memo for corners and list for edges. and honestly, i have never been able to complete a solve.
but i have good faith in this variation. memo is easy, only recall is hard.
my PB was from using the old Poch: 4:5x.xx
so whats ur blind story?

i'm currently using the 2-cycle similar to the one you described above. but i use the ULF as the buffer zone for the corners, and the UR for the edges.
and yeah, i also tried hybrid. in fact i studied hybrid first before i shifted to 2-cycle. kaso, ang baba ng success rate ko sa hybrid wherein i make use of 3-cycle for the corners. but when i shifted to 2-cycle, success rate is almost 100%.
my PB so far i think is around 10mins. but i haven't really timed myself yet. _________________ hell yeah! i'm really bald! one day, i just woke up and decided to shave my head. and it beats the sh*t out of me.

Hi, my blindfold method is Pochmann's original method. PB is 1:55.xx. (avg around 2:50). I'm practicing 3 cycling stickers for edges (freestyle, no edge orientation), but finding the transition for the setup moves frustrating and slow during execution since I'm not yet used to it as much as I am with the original method I'm using. Once I'm more comfortable and confident with cycling edge stickers, I'll move on to corners. I visually memorize the corners. If I end with an odd number of corner 2 cycles, then I know I'll end up with a parity. For the edges, I visually memorize the first 4 stickers, then I use one word syllables to memorize the the remaining pairs of edge stickers. I execute edges first, then corners.

I use 3 cycle except that for the CO step, I use Seerusgod's algos. My PB (which I just got today ^_^) is 6:55.xx . I'm not sure what my success rate is though since I haven't been doing BLD much. _________________ PBs: 3x3: 14.65 (lucky) 14.xx (non-lucky) 3x3 BLD: 3:10 20 more OLL algos to memorize

by numbers lng din po yan for corners like (1234)(5648)
dun sa example mo (0001)(2111)

If say the top center is yellow, then you it is oriented correctly if either the white or yellow sticker is on top. If it isn't then the piece either has to be turned clockwise or counterclockwise.
Do (RUR'U') (RUR'U') L' (URU'R') (URU'R') L on your cube with yellow as up and red as front. You will notice that the yellow sticker on corner 1 (or the bottom left top corner if you use a different positioning system) needs to replace the blue sticker which is on U. The blue sticker needs to replace the red sticker on L, and the red sticker needs to replace the yellow sticker on F. If you trace the movement with your finger, you can tell that it has to go counter-clockwise.
Then it's just up to you on how you are going to orient them. _________________ PBs: 3x3: 14.65 (lucky) 14.xx (non-lucky) 3x3 BLD: 3:10 20 more OLL algos to memorize
