when inspecting what are you looking for?

for me i look for the 4 pieces of my cross..

yeah, you find the cross and try to find your first f2l pair

I look for the 4 edges that makes a white cross at the bottom, and at times the first pair also.

yep, look for the first pair.

same with gani and JB, try to memorize the move you plan blindfolded when you are practicing it really helps during the cross

Dont just look for the 4 pieces for the cross, also try figuring out how the cross is formed in lesser moves. To master this, try doing cross-making repeatedly. By then you would get used to it and will eventually find fewer moves for the cross. As you have mastered this, you will eventually be looking ahead for the first pairs as well.

i haven't really gotten to that part yet. i just use fast recognition.

gee! i'm still working out on the inspection thing. it really takes time i guess. most of the time, i can only insert 3 white pieces, and during the process of inserting the three pieces, i'm planning on the fourth white piece to complete the cross.

kaya po pala tinitignan muna nila yung cube pag sa tournament. para mabilis ang cross. hehe thanks a lot! this would save me some time! Thanks!

ako rin i look for the four edges of the cross...swerte na kpg naka 3 ako, but in my case 2 edges lng nailalagay ko within the 15-sec inspection...i had to practice better 'coz it takes a lot of time...

may nagsasabing sa neutral madali ang xcross..
pero sa 1 color, SOBRANG hirap gawin ng xcross lalo na sa 15s preinspection...

ang gusto kong alamin e,
anong ideal? (for 1color)

@hwoarang for me..pag my madaling xcross lang ako ngxxcross..eventhought d ko nagagamit lahat ng 15s sa inspection..i just look 4 the 1st f2l pair after ng 3rd edge ko sa cross..

bale 3edges for cross then first f2l pair agad?

ako kasi, 4edges then 1st f2l pair... sobrang hirap naman kaya ndi ko nagagawa sa 15s inspection...

ahm..wat i mean pag d mo lang kaya mag4edges..ako kac 4edge..and paginiexecute ko n ung last edge(4th) dun naq naghahanap ng f2l pair..

me i'm looking for whatever edges are possible to be placed in their relative position, minsan 4 edges, kung di kya 3, or minsan pag di maganda positioning ng edges, come what may na lng!!!!

4 edges para sa cross and then the two f2l pair agad.parang multi slotting pro ndi hehehe. intuitive lang pero almost sabay aq maginsert lalo n pag lucky case hehehe.minsan nga eh nangyayare ung pagkainsert q nung 1st f2l pair.nakaready na ung susunod and then ipapasok mo na lang hehehe.lucky yun kaso bihira mangyare eh
