How much is your budget & what cubes are you looking for (2x2.. 3x3)? If you're looking for a decent but cheap cube, get a Dian Sheng (Sa tabi-tabi lang un, bangketas). If you want Rubik's brand, check out Toys 'R' Us outlets.

If I had to rank them in terms of performance:

#1 Speedcubing Assembly Kit (Rubik's DIY)
price: p900ish (899 IIRC)
place: at Toys 'R' Us branches (Galleria, Trinoma)
color: black
- Probably the best cube locally available

#2 Dian Sheng
price: anywhere from p59-p250, usually p150
place: almost everywhere, bangketas, tiangges with the "p10 all items" promos
color: white/yellow/green
- Almost as good as the Rubik's DIY IMO (in terms of smoothness), better than the TRU in terms of cutting corners but not as good as a Type A (hardly noticable though).

#2(DS clone) Mr. Brix cube
price: p199
place: everywhere in malls, Toy Kingdom, Toys 'R' Us branches, almost any toy store
color: white
- DS clone [with a red core], almost perfectly the same

#3 Type D DIYkit (YUGA/UDIY)
price: anywhere from p59-p250, usually p150
place: bangketas, much much rarer than the DS cube though
color: black, white, orange, pink, gray, green
- A bit looser than a DS cube, but being only a VERY SLIGHTLY bit better than a TRU in cutting corners, it causes it to lock up more.

#4 TRU cube
price: p219
place: at Toys 'R' Us branches (Galleria, Trinoma)
color: black
- Speedcube-able, only after being broken in and lubed. I'd buy it only for collection purposes now, and rather settle for a DS or Brix cube. If you have trouble with recognition on a white cube, I'd rather hunt for a black YUGA.

magandang cube para sakin ay rubiks DIY ..... available po sya sa TRU branches.... kung mura lng naman po DS ka na po.... sa mga bangketa po meron ka nang mahahanap eh.... Very Happy

Rubik's DIY is the best for me. Bibili uli ako ng mga 2 pa this week pag experiment ko. Isa gawin kong Jap Color Scheme isa gawin kong Cubesmith textured tiled. Eto meron ako ngayon leave ko sya as is kahit baklas na mga stickers hehehe. Ganda nya sarap marinig yung tunog na parang snappy something.

Meron na nga palang White Rubik's DIY sa site nila.

pag hex p0 mhal kc sa weight at size nya mapapamahal mag pa shipping nun...
yung shrinknmn p0 mdyo mura kc nmn p0 nakaplastic nlng sya..

sa TRU at TK meron ES na 4x4. tpos sa bangketa sa area namin, meron nabibili. Nakabili nga ako nun 150 lang. 2 klase kc yun. yung 1, tiles lang kya halatang peke pro yung 1 pa, mukang orig kasi sticker.
