I was actually told to buy a Type D, also. Then I saw the mixed reviews, there were good and bad reasons to buy Type D, so I bought a Type A...and I'm really glad I bought the type A because it doesn't pop, the core on my type A is yellow, so it's much faster.
My Type D always pops, it's ridiculously loose and is hard to tighten for some reason...maybe I just got a bad one but whatever the case is, the type D I have in my possession is bad
I'll definitely be buying more type A's, though.

yan ung custom made qoh.ung niliha q ung mga sides ng bawat piece ng DS q para maging diy type F style.

sobraang smooth nya problem lang mejo popper na xe almost 6 months q ng main cube un hehehe. may mga nakatry na nun.and dabest daw un sa OH. hehehe.alam ni supercuber kung gano kaganda un.hehehe.

astig pla ung rubiks assembly kit. .sana mag karoon ako nun. .my prob me ngyun, main cube ko DS pero bumili me ng YUGA, ngyun d ko alam kung yuga b gagamitin ko or DS kasi both ang ganda eh, advantage lng ng DS sakin sobrang break in na xa while ung yuga 3days plng pero ang ganda. .

For me, C4U DIY Type A, ganda xa pag tumagal saka maganda ung pag mo-mod, nxt ung DS cube.. yun lng

For me Rubik's Assembly Kit II, then DS.
Kaso I seldom use my Assembly Kit II,
sayang kung pangpractice lang, eh meron namang DS.

Favorite ko pong gamitin ay Mr. Brix ko eh....

For 3x3x3 = i love ALL the type Cs!!!! I love all orange/yellow cubes.... but for now im using my Rubiks Assembly kit (white) from rubiks .com... For bld un din or ung tru cube ko...

4x4 = still cant decide if rubiks or es pero im using ES now... pero i still love my Rubiks
