| uhmmmm.for me, if he/she has solve at least one layer on his/her own without the help of anybody or algorithms. in that sense, we can know that he/she has potential to understand the movements of the cube....opinion ku lang yan hah.....  |

| I will list mine from most reasonable first to the not-so-reasonable last:
he gets why, fast.
he develops intuitive algs easily.
he has already developed look ahead even without practice.
he played ryanheise.com since birth.
he has rediculously long spider-like fingers.
those spider fingers move fast like... bullet fingers. let's now call them the spidey bullet fingers.
he has the ability to know if he is going to make a mistake in the future and so avoids such mistake. (Nicholas Cage, anyone?)
he senses the colors of the cubes at all times.
he does not need algorithms from anyone. he downloads them with a built-in wifi receiver inside his brain.
when you mention a speedcubing term to him the first time he hears it he downloads the information using said wifi receiver and states the defenition of said term in less than 0.5 seconds after you have uttered the last syllable of said term.
his father/mother specifically and intentionally tried to elongate his hands and train them to be the spidey bullet fingers they are so that in the future he can dominate the cube.
he is the son of spider-man and either a female version or a trans-sexual version of the flash.
he eats spiders.
or bullets.
both.
he was once an exiled alien baby from the planet Cubizoida.
he is destined to hold the cube.
he has a birthmark resembling a rubik's cube on his hands. or on his butt cheeks. (cant hurt to shave his head and check there, though)
he had a non-cubing relationship with the cube before.

| I know I might get shot for this, but solving the cube doesn't really need any special talent. The beginners' solution requires only a few algos, and it's kinda formulaic every time. Feeling ko naman kaya talaga ng lahat; some just give up learning halfway, not because they lack talent but rather they lack an *active* interest. Classic case of hard work vs genius.
(Note that I am not talking about *speed*cubing here, but merely solving the cube. I cannot speak for speedcubing myself.)
Now, what I would call talented is someone who can solve the cube intuitively, i.e. without any pre-learned algos. Which may not corelate to speed at all, but that's another subject...

| sure ka? I don't think I'm talented pero masmabilis ako sa classmate ko na nauna saakin magsimula mga three to four months na ako kaklase ko 5 pero feel ko kasi hindi siya sobrang dedicated
feel ko malalaman mo after two months unless na nagslack siya( hehehe guilty myself)
