What do you do when you buy a NEW TRU cube?
it takes a long time for my new TRU cubes to get loose even after i put lube already. Is there something I'm supposed to do before applying the silicone?

I'm going to lube it then sell it for a higher price.
A picture or image, generally, is not one sided but a multiplex of vertical horizons compiled into one. So basically, if viewed critically, an image has multiple particulars; it is then for you to find out what roles these particulars act in compliance to make the picture work.
...and this is not just about photography.

yung friend q po, pinakinis niya po yung surface ng TRU cube nya, he used sand paper, tapos parang naging DIY yung cube nya, ganda gamitin,.

ayos kiddy punk inadvertise ba nmn thread ko??? ahahah. kuya bonoan check mo ung link ni kiddy punk
Re: What do you do when you buy a NEW TRU cube?
when i still didn't have my DIY, here's what i do after i buy a TRU cube:
1. i apply nail polish at once to preserve the stickers
2. once the stickers are dry (overnight), i sand the inner surfaces my cube using a sand paper or a silica sand. after sanding, i brutally play with the cube for one whole day without lube yet.
3. then, i disassemble the cube, clean it, assemble it, then play with it (3x)
4. once the cube is clean, i apply lube.
actually, for the past few days, i've been using a really old TRU cube, it's really good when i practice slow solves. plus, it NEVER pops. since it's old, it doesn't have any more lock ups and it cuts as good as diy's.

Re: What do you do when you buy a NEW TRU cube?
i prefer the cube not to be sanded... it gives a weird feeling and didnt seem to help my old japan rubik's cube at all...
i wished i hadn't sandpaper-ed it

Re: What do you do when you buy a NEW TRU cube?
i think it depends on the cube. i don't sand my diy. but i sand my tru cube coz it really needs it.

Re: What do you do when you buy a NEW TRU cube?
TRU cube need to be sanded... sand paper or literally... the sand...
pero mga TRU cubes na lumalabas ngayon is almost for speed cubing... it really is smooth... but not all... luckily for me... i bought one that not needed any sand... just break-in for about an hour... then clean the cube... then apply some lube... VIOLA... it is for speedcubing... but the cutting corners is not that effective... but if you use it as a main cube... baka after a week or two... okay na for cutting corners...
BTW... i'm talking about a SHRINK WRAPPED TRU CUBE... P219.00...
thanks a lot... heheheheheheh...
