| I contacted sales from Rubiks.com and asked what are the differences between all the cubes I know that Rubik's manufactures.

Hi There is no difference, they all come from the same factory. Different packaging. Regards Rubik's

Not really.
I just want to know what are all the different kinds of 3x3x3 cubes you sell all around the world. Please do answer, surely as the official site of your brand, you should know.
I will enumerate what I know and please tell me their description and differences from other cubes.
1) Store-bought cube in the US. Toys r Us, hexagon packaging.
2) Rubiks.com hexagon packaging. The very engaging question is why is this more expensive than item #1.
3) Rubiks.com DIY cube.
4) Hungarian Rubik's Cube.
5) Store-bought cube in all the other places in the world. (Are they made from the same manufacturer as the ones in the US?)
6) Japan's store-bought cubes (people claim it is better than the store-bought cubes from all the other places. why)
7) Japan's DIY cube (they say it's better than the rubiks.com DIY. why)
Please reply.
Thanks.

| the two 3x3x3 cubes with hex packaging I bought from Rubiks.com is exactly the same as the cube from TRU. both have the same marking "MADE IN CHINA." apparently the same with the shrinked package from TRU. parang the same din sa DIY from TRU, notwithstanding it's a DIY. the ironic thing is, I don't use them even when lubed. maiingay sila pati mga springs. mas maganda pa rin ang C4Y and the DIY cube I bought from PUZZLEPROZ (eBay from Hawaii). |

Yeah. I agree. Rubik's.com does not have good service. I once wrote a pretty long letter to them inquiring about when their online shop will open and etc. I really took time to write it. After a week, I received an email from them. All it said was "April 21,2008". I was like, "whuuuuut? That's not even a complete sentence." to myself. They should outsource their customer service to the Philippines, at least that way we'll all get better answers.
Im guessing it's automated or something. Crazy.... _________________ Pappu de Leon |
