For cubers who solve the xCross on the D layer

One of my biggest problems in speedcubing is being able to solve the cross xCross on the D layer instead of doing it on the U layer and having the flip the cube over.

for those who do it on the D layer, any tips?

so, u make or cross on top i suppose? just try locating pieces with, for example, pieces of white cross on D layer. just keep practicing i guess, sorry kung parang wala akong natulong. hahaha.

i'd like to help,

kasi dati i solve the cross on U face,
pero nagtrip lng ako na gawin yun cross sa D face,..
cguro for 1 day, nasanay na ko,..
keep practicing lang po tlga,

ganto po kasi style ko, pag Yellow center on top,. sabi ko sa utak ko,
R-G-O-B(counterclockwise) = Red-Green-Orange-Blue(counterclockwise)
ganyan yung formation ng center pieces, then locate isa-isa yung edges na White/Red , White/Green, White/Orange, White/Blue.

ako tnitignan ko kung anu yung pinakamdaling ilagay sa D face,tapos insert ng insert n lng,. practice lng po tlga,.

sana kahit papano nkatulong ang baguhang tulad ko, goodluck po,..

praktis po talaga yang cross on the bottom... tapos know the color scheme... tapos try to solve it habang nakapikit... wala munang timer... praktis lang po ng praktis...

try intuition on this one... hanap ka ng possible move na 7 or 8 moves or less... puwede din naman humaba as long na madali lang execution... sa umpisa lang mabagal...

in my case... 4-6 seconds consisten and stable cross ko sa bottom... 7 or 8 moves nasusunod... pero minsan umaabot ng 10 moves pero 4-6 seconds pa rin...

pero yun mga mamaw dito... 2 seconds lang cross nila... pag pinapanood mo nga video nila kala mo di sila nag-cross dumaan eh... parang pag binilang mo... limang (5) F2L ang ginawa nila... heheheheheheh...

i stress praktis the cross on the bottom... tapos nakapikit me palagi... pagkatapos tingnan mo kung tama... pag mali ulit uli... hanggang ngayon nagpaparaktis pa rin me ng cross sa bottom... gusto ko kasi mga 2 seconds na lang eh...

memorizing your the colors of the cube by heart kunyari white cross ka tapos front =red left= blue right= green back= orange
front=blue left=orange and so on..........

tama c master iruel... memorize ur color scheme by heart... saka mahirap kasi ngaun mo plng ibebeat ung hobby mo n top cross.. pero mabilis k nmn khit top cross ka eh hehehe cguro sanayan lng din

me! me! me! i use xcross on the D layer, i also can do it ar U layer also at the L layer kaso ndi komportable... wahahaha... what tips can i give its just how you do it and how you practice it that counts...

Meh. May simpleng method si Erik na napansin ko dito. Ilalagay niya three edge pieces sa U face, isa sa D face, then r2 dun sa may tatlong edge pieces. Tada! Instant D face cross. Wala nang awkward na pauses para mag-z2 move or x2 or whatever.

Sisiw lang naman ang bottom cross, mapa-xCross man yan o cross lang. Woot.
