Re: slicon/silicone what's the difference?
I don't know...but I think the difference is that Silicon came from silica. Silica help any material to be fossilized. (I'm not sure about this, I just read it from my Earth Science book) It also contains silicon. It is atomic number 14.
Silicone is identified as any of a group of semi-inorganic polymers that contains chain of silicon and oxygen atoms. It is characterized by wide-range thermal stability and used in adhesives, lubricants, protective coatings, and synthetic rubber.
In other words, Silicon is used to solidify things and silicone is use to increase the friction. (I think? I can't remember it well from my Science class)
Please correct me if I'm wrong....

silicone is an lubrican spray that makes the cube smooth and reduce noise of screws.... silicon it is use for protection for the metal and to prevent what do you call that "kalawang or mangalawang" and it is not a lubricant
