a new brand discovered

okey it started like this. I noticed only one person in school owning a white outlined cube (the one that looks a lot like the DIY cube, i think kindly comment on this if im wrong) and i said to myself "you can only get that kind of cube online" so i concluded he got the cube online. a few days later i noticed an increase of people owning the same cube and i said to myself "no way!!!" so i asked out of desperation they told they only bought it here... huh? they bought it in a place called value point here in las pinas so i decided to buy my own since it looked really nice.

here are some details regarding this new cube

1. the brand is called the mf8 cube it doesnt really mean anything
2. the packaging is just a normal thin cardboard box, your local packaging
3. ITS REALLY SOFT!!! turn it once you'll have to put less turning effort compared to your typical TRU cube IMAGINE THAT!!!
4. some of its parts pop out too easily
5. here is something completely unexpected. IT GLOWS IN THE DARK!!! well just the white outline really
6. affordable. costs almost the same as the TRU cube
7. the brandname has different font style per cube and its put in different center tiles (umm what im saying is one cube different placing on where the brandmname is with a different fontstyle for every cube)
8. number 7 here doesnt really make any sense
9. the center tile pops out a lot

so what do i advice after buying it

1. tighten the screws. it lessens popping parts after which its performance will be equal as a TRU cube
2. find a way to lessen the center tile popping (this one is pretty much up to you) so far im havent done anything to reslove this problem
3. ENJOY THE GLOW IN THE DARK FEATURE (too bad the stickers dont if it did that would be so cool!!!)

so to summarize all this is a fairly good cube. i can advice it for speed cubing due to how lesser the effort needed turning this. the glow in the dark thing still amazes me until this point. and i posted this since there was no post regarding such so i said to myself what the heck why not!!!

so it just needs a few adjusting with the screws but i guarantee this will satisfy both your collecting needs or cubing needs

can i comment on this? do you guys also see the topic where the dude was asking where to buy cubes in HK? follow his link. you'ss see a white and black assembly cube pictures. notice the white. its not really white, is it? its creamy, just like the color of any glow-in-the-dark plastic. i speculate that they are of the same brand, but that's just my wild guessing.
