bought a 3x3x3 at toys r us

i just came back from my shopping spree

i saw a toys r us store at robinsons galleria and i was like. oh yeah. cubes.
so i bought a 3x3 and i started scrambling it and i have to say the quality is bad/sucks seriously compared to my japanese coolor scheme cube i got from japan. the difference is big. my jap one turned smoothly but the one here is just scratchy you know?

anyways, i also bought cyclo heavy duty silicone spray. the salesperson said that it is silcone based not petroleum based.... :/ hmm...

when will you get your DIYs?

hehe. i'm using that cube from toysRus and that cyclo heavy duty silicone spray too (because i don't have a DIY cube yet). but i don't think they're all that bad. you just have to break-in the cube first, and it gets smoother as you play with it. and, the cyclo silicone spray acts like a glue at first. the cube gets really rough, but it really smoothens out as you play with the cube.

i don't think the 3x3 from toys r us is getting smoother. i lubed it twice already. still kinda rough on feel.

i think, quality lng ang pinagkaiba nung cubes n mbibili sa trinoma, galeria at metro east compared s rubiks cube n mbibili online. tama b? o same lng sila lahat?

made in china yung available sa toys r us stores. nde nga sya ganun ka ganda compared sa mabibili mo online thru rubiks.com

Yung packaging nung nasa Trinoma, plastic wrap lang tapos meron nung "stand". Very basic packaging. The cubes are decent enough, I think. May swerte din.

Trinoma is the mall directly connected to EDSA MRT North Avenue station. First time I went there, bili kagad ng cube sa Toys R Us.
