Official Color????

Hi guys, medyo new me sa cubing, anu ba tlga official color ng cube??? nagsearch na ko d2 pero parang ala ako nakita tungkol d2 eh.....eto kasing mga cube na nasakin puro fake...kaya iba iba yung kulay nya...nakakalito 2loy waaaahhh....(kung nasa maling category ako, pakitransfer na lng hehehehe)

U - Yellow
F - Red
L - Blue
R - Green
B - Orange
D - White

White opposite yellow; Red opposite orange and green opposite blue. Dapat din pag white on top and green in front, orange nasa left.

basta yun nga...orange-red blue-green white-yellow

tapos ganito agad,...white sa taas orange sa left blue sa harap...tapos yung oposite nalang nila

The standard (official) coloring has a "plus yellow" logic:

white opposite yellow (white + yellow)
red opposite orange (red + yellow)
blue opposite green (blue + yellow)

Another popular color scheme exists (Japanese cubes):

white opposite blue
red opposite orange
green opposite yellow

The Japanese scheme was the default scheme during the early years of the Rubik's cube...80's perhaps. Then I guess...americans changed the scheme so that a Red-White-Blue angle can be created. They're so nationalistic that they changed Hungary's calme to fame into a toy that reminds people of their country. Haha...what a theory...

Haha, makes sense! And fortunately it works for the Philippines as well (see PCA logo).

Hmm, now that I noticed, bat nga ba baliktad yung red and blue ng cube sa PCA logo? Diba dapat red yung nasa kaliwa... plus tutugma yung orientation sa Philippine flag pag ganito. Wala lang.
