Yeah, the first time I got timed, I was really shaking and even sweating. My hands got sweaty and I dropped my cube.
I told them to just restart the time, but once I got comfortable, it became easy and just did it like normal.

One good thing is to just block people out.
Don't think about the people around you. Just concentrate on the cube and you'll do great.
