q binubuo the WHOLE cube
NOT layer by layer d sides of the 5x5 ..

example, make the WHOLE red color 1st
(not just the gitna/9 colors) but the 25 colors ng red ..
& then lahat5 ng 2nd layer ng cube ..
& then lahat ng 3rd layer,
lahat ng 4th layer ..
pagdating sa 5th layer ng cube,
BUONG 5th layer ng cube,
may ginagamit aqng invented pattern ..

Solving a 5x5x5 using LBL is insane. The only proven way to solve it without taking too much of your time and sanity is using the reduction method, whereby your big cube is reduced to a 3x3x3 and solve as such.

However, if you can one day solve it using LBL, I must say that you will be the first person in my knowledge to do so, and that would rock the cubing community to the core.

hmm. wouldnt you say the included manual for the professor is similar to LBL?

time q sa layer by layer na solving ng 5x5? 15mins .. =p
kc hindi p ganun kabilis kamay q e ..
but sure naman eung solution at sure na masosolve..
nabubuo xa using my pattern ..
matagal nga lang kc mabagal aq ..
pero kung kayo gagamit ng pattern q,
for sure mas mabilis yung time ..

benjediman, parang LBL yung
pagsosolve ko ng 5x5 ..
pero babaguhin, dadagdagan,
gagamitan ng mejo maraming logic ..
aun ..
actually mejo parang sa 3x3 solving yung pagsolve ko sa 1st layer, lahat ng gilid tsaka 5th layer ng cube ..
yung centers (each ng cube) logic ..

Ah, so "parang" LBL lang pala. Haha. Possible nga, dahil yung first time kong nag-solve nito, almost LBL rin ginamit ko with a lot variations. Akala ko pure LBL. That would have been pretty impossible.

And yes, ganun nga talaga ang pagsolve ng big cubes: reduction. Baka hindi mo lang napapansin na yun ang ginagawa mo.
