Re: Olympic Cubes
reviving old threads
to answer pancho's question:
1) what everybody's telling, for easier grip (so hard to hold a big straight cube)
2) so that the pieces that are nearer to the corners or the corners themselves would mechanically stay in the system while turning. imagine when you have a corner piece that's relatively very small to the size of the whole cube. turn a face 45 degrees and the whole of the corner should be seen floating in mid-air if the shape of the cube is perfect. have a look at the underside of a 3x3's corner compared to a 5x5's while turned 45 degrees to see what i mean
anyways, i still doubt if they will be able to produce it...

Re: Olympic Cubes
my estimate for a 6x6x6 olympic cube would be P1500 each...
for a 7x7x7, maybe a P1800 price tag...
what you think?

Re: Olympic Cubes
pag nhawakan niyo yung 5x5x5 n vcubes/olympic pabilog din., pati nga 3x3x3 eh... gnun tlaga., kasi daw para mas mdaling mkita kulay
Re: Olympic Cubes
@mr prince. yung 5x5 hindi pabilog. at hindi para madali ang kulay. nanghuhula ka naman e.
Re: Olympic Cubes
I agree with the price range given by greatauror, and I agree with Ken that Mr. Prince maybe is guessing. There are NO rounded 5x5's. the rounded versions start with 6. the cubic versions end with 6. that means 6x6x6 has 2 versions.

Re: Olympic Cubes
