look ahead

ok, as the topics says. I'm practicing look ahead for f2l parang sanay na ko hehe pero minsan after cross dko pa nkkta ung first pair un na lng mali ko, question is ngllook ahead dn ba kau sa OLL and PLL. I mean after f2l look ahead for possible OLL and possible PLL

What I do is slow down slightly during the 4th pair. During OLL naman pag matatapos na ung execution ko, medyo binabagalan ko rin. As much as possible track colors, blocks etc. para ma anticipate mo yung PLL case. I'm still having trouble like in the transition from cross to 1st F2L, I guess slow solve lang with a much faster tempo. Or you can try to maximize the 15sec. preinspection (anticipate mo na dun palang kung sa at anong case 1st F2L pair if possible.) Hope it helps.

*you could try and video record your solves I've done it. Heh me pauses parin ako. At mas maganda pa tingnan ung slow solves with minimal pauses. *

mahirap ma look ahead iyong PLL eh.. quick recognition nalang cguro.. sa OLL naman... slow mo ung last pair mo kasi parang makikita mo na inyong lalabas na OLL...

parehas tau ng problem ung first f2l pair ko ang dko nkkta ehhe pero afterwards nkkta ko na lahat ngaun PLL quick recognition and OLL ang problem hehe.. dko kaya magvideo kze wala naman ako recorder. pero i'll try to practice more on slow solving bka mkta ko na cla sa susunod


btw what do you mean by faster tempo??? sa music cguro xa ung beat dba hehe

ung ginawa ko..
humanap ako ng pinakabilis na cross..
pause kaunti..tapos bilis naman sa f2l..

slow solve....hm...tas pag meron kang nakitang pair bilisin mong pag slot...then while doing the alg hanap uli...^^...

Dapat.. practice mo na isasama mo ung 1st pair mo sa inspection mo ng cross.. ganun talaga un.. mahirap.. kaso practice lang..

for me po..sa 15secs pre inspect..il look for the 4 edges ng cross..while executing the last edge(cross) nglolook ahead na ako for the 1st f2l pair..then while executing it..try to look for the nxt and so on..until to the last pair..then while executing the last pair(f2l)u can look ahead kung anong lalabas na OLL..and sa PLL ganun din..hopes it helps..try practicing it in slow movements(slow solve)

@ainhee22: metronome yung sinasabi ko hehe. I started with 60bpm (alam ko equivalent na to sa 1TurnPerSecond). Then move up (maybe slowly or biglaan depende nalang) , increasing the tempo +60bpm sabayan mo yan like 1beat=1turn.
So: 60-120-180-240bpm. As of now parang impossible para sakin yung 180bpm. Maganda kasi panimula ang metronome para maging fluid ung movement ng f2l mo, tapos dapat constant yung look ahead.

@ni09ne:kapag complicated na ang cross solution, di ko na ma anticipate ung f2l. Fast recognition ginagamit ko, kaya halatang may pauses. Kapag binagalan ko naman ang execution ng cross, mga 5sec siguro aabutin pero karaniwan kita ko na ung 1st F2L pair. Ganun talaga siguro Practice 3x..

kahit ako nahihirapan din sa 1st pair after ko mag cross kaya binabawi ko n lng sa LL hehe

@omar..un din ang prob ko b4..kaya nstuck ako sa sub21-22 nun..pero pagnakuha mo technique nun magaaverage k ng 17-19..or mas mababa pa dun..mejo my pagkaslow solve p kac ako magbuo kaya now sub19 palang ako..

try mo po mag practice ng cross+first pair i try mo sub 5 yn gnyn kc gnagwa ko ngayon kya medyo na cut down times ko ng 3-5 sec ..

Pareho kami ng ginagawa ni ni09ne.. Tinitingnan ko muna ang 4 edges ng cross para mapabilis tapos look ahead na sa f2l..

At saka slow solve muna para bumilis ang look ahead..
