NxNxN cubes (N > 5)

Post by ronyu02 on Tue Sep 11, 2007 5:00 am

Hehe, naadik na ako and tried the 6x6 cube (using Gabbasoft). Kayang-kaya naman pala pag gamay mo na yung 5x5 and below. Took me an hour and a half to figure out and solve, pero wala nang additional algos to learn, pahirapan lang talaga sa pagbuo ng centers and edges.

I'm hoping to do the 20x20 like benjodcubist. Just because. Wink

Thanks! Actually ang point pala ng post ko is to encourage you guys to try it (if you haven't done so yet). Narealize ko kasi na kasing "dali" lang sya ng 5x5, mas tedious nga lang. Very satisfying though!

As for bragging rights, I'll try the 20x20 first. Marami-rami na ring nakagawa nito (see Youtube). Very Happy

On a related note, I hope magbenta sila ng Olympic cubes sa Pinas. I'd gladly save my money for one of them. I hear 11x11 yung pinakamalaki so far.

Dang, that's fast for a first try. Sa 2nd try pa ako (7x7) naka sub-1hr. Congrats and good luck sa 20x20!

Meanwhile I need to learn a faster 3x3 method. Roux looks fun. Very Happy

Thanks! I'm going for 7x7 now. Very Happy

Yeah Roux rocks! Still slow with it, but I've only been using it for a week and memorized just 6 algos. Smile
