Internet handle: Sandman21.
I first laid my hands of a cube when I was really young. I enjoyed it back then, but I eventually lost interest. My interest has come back because of the beautiful art of speed-cubing. If I count my current interest in cubing, I'd say I've just been cubing for 2 weeks.
I currently reside in Iligan City. There was a small competition held at our university. Sano was there. I think that's his name. haha.
I'm currently trying to improve my recognition skills. I'm looking around for good cubes that I can seriously use. My cube is just tough as rock to turn. haha. But it's still good for getting down the concept of cubing. With my current cube I can barely average a minute. 2 minutes is good for me with my cube. haha.
I decided to join this community to know other cubers from around the nation and widen my knowledge. I hope to have fun during this cubing arc of my life.

Ei, welcome here. Me and my brother are from Iligan, Sano is a friend of mine. How's the IIT competition? I think you should contact Sano for good cubes, he can arrange that for you.

I'm guessing you're the Cañares that Sano was talking about. I've only met Sano once in a meeting for the IIT competition. The competition was great. I didn't know there were some good cubers in IIT. I heard there was a cube-meet tomorrow in IIT. I'll try to attend the meet. I'll try to see Sano about better cubes. I'm currently using a yellow Diang Sheng cube that I picked up from a local store.
