Which side of the cube do you solve your cross/f2l on? cfop

lol. fridrich method users only.

i do my cross on the bottom and/or left, but i am trying to do cross and f2l on the left side. hope the time gets better than solving the cross on the bottom.

i started solving the cross on the left when i knew that tyson mao solved it that way haha. then just a few days ago i saw mat's solve f2l on the right so i'm like what the heck and started doing f2l on the left.

ako sa left rin yung cross, you get to plan your next move much easier, kita mo kasi yung last at top layer, imo.

ako bottom kac u get to see more of the cube eh,, gungz, harris chan and many more uses bottom but who cares,, just do it wherever u are confident,,, and u have less time flipping ur cube when the OLL takes place..

definitely down cross, i still remember when i was still sub23 i also was planning to switch to left cross out of desperation to get a sub20 average. but down cross really helped me alot, first of all, it gives you the whole view of the cube because the top layer is on top, execution and recognition is fast also because you could look ahead to the next move while solving a pair for the F2L. most of the fastest cubers uses down cross, like gungz, harris chan, edouard chambon, and etc....but if you could do all those stuffs that i described when i am using the down cross using left cross, then why not, it is still you preference.

for me as much as possible i make the cross on the bottom.. but sometimes, on the top or the side because of fingertrick connections... my cross average is just below 2 seconds..

Yeah, cross on the left for me even when I'm not using the fridrich method. hehe

Bottom cross works enough for me!

ah. i find some f2l alg hard to execute when cross at left lol. hmm... still practicing. hope it gets better. but i probably should stick with bottom cross and f2l

i am doing cross on bottom, f2l with cross on bottom. it works for me.

jettyboy has a point, some algorithms for f2l are designed by right handed cubers, thats why mat uses right cross because he is left handed... for right crosses maybe left cross f2l algos go to leyan lo's webpage...

ako, kahit saan lang depende kung asan yung hinahanap ko. but i think most of the time, nasa bottom yung cross.

actually hindi pa ako sanay na nasa ilalim ung cross kaya ginagawa ko sya sa taas... medyo di pa ako sanay sa bottom cross mrthod kaya practice lang :D:D

practicing bottom yep, f2l are for righties. im a leftie. when learning new algos i do it with my right, remember the patterns of execution then translate it to my left hand. i find translating to left hand algo text too long.

mas maganda siguro kapag bottom hehe...chamba nagawa ko na rin sa wakas 58.xxsec, 1.03.xx sec, and 52.49 sec...! hehe...practice more and memorize more...and discover the secret of cube...

bottom cross for me. pero sabi nga ng iba kahit saan basta masaya at komportable ka hehe.
