Yung step 4 po ba yung nakakalito? Kung yun nga, gawn mo yung algos sa solved cube para malaman mo kung ano yung pinagpapalit palit ng mga algs.

Kung yung iba yung nakakalito like this: if the D face looks like this then the U face has these possibilities. Make sure na kapag ginawa mo x2(yung cube rotation) ganun nga ang kinalalabasan at hindi mo kailangan gumawa pa ng y cube rotation or iturn yung U face..

Dyan kasi ako nalilito kaya feeling ko dyan rin kayo nalilito heehehe... Ewan ko lang kung dyan ka nalilito... Actually nadiscourage nga ako pag-aralan yang method na yan kasi nakakaasar yung step 4...

Actually Step 4 is permutation for one or both layers. What I did was I made a 3-D drawing for me to see where pieces are going. For sure, pagnakita niyo drawing di kayo mahihirapan. This method is only beneficial if you are color neutral or its just like COLL, well that is just me.

Basta make sure na after x2 kailangan di ko gagamit ng y ikutin mo lang yung U face or whatever face.

It's used by many people that's fast, that's for sure. In Erik's site, there are supposedly faster methods, but ones that require extensive memorization. That's why many settle for either Guimond or Ortega.

I guess I could average sub- 10 with this method after I learned it. Thanks bro.

for those rushing 2x2..i suggest studying ortega for the meantime.. learned all it's algs in 30 mins..alam ko na kc ung iba dahil sa OLLs and PLLs..at napaka simple lang talaga.. here's a link

though "mabilis" na talaga siya

pero tricky talaga kung gusto niyong bumilis using ortega

@ ynajatrice : lalaki ka po diba? wah..palagi kong naiisip na babae ka..ung avatar mo po kasi..si jessika aka jiri fridrich...haha..tumatak na sa utak ko na babae ka..eniwey off topic na to.. oonga po..tinatry kong gawin..habang inspection time pa lang..inaalam ko na kung may mabubuo bang "bars" sa first layer..tapos inaanalyze ko kung anong oll case lalabas dun sa pangalawang layer..nagagawa ko naman so far..nahihirapan pa lang ako sa pagrecognize ng case sa pagpermute ng dalawang layers.. wala lang..ansaya ng ORTEGA..30 mins of practice and memorizing algs..nakakuha na ko ng bagong pb sa 2x2....7.5 seconds.. haha..best average : 12 seconds..

Try nyo to:

1.Find or set- up a face on the 2x2x2 with 4 or 3 corners with the opposite colors then use an OLL algorithm to orient the opposite face, treating opposite colors as the top color.

2. Use the step 3 of Guimond method to place the opposite corners in their correct place. I think this step can be intuitive in the first place.

3. Use the permutation patterns of Guimond method as the last step.
There are times that such patterns wouldn't come up but they are actually only mirrors of those patterns so you need to mirror the algorithms for it.

sinusubukan kong i-anticipate yung OLL para sa smooth execution

dahil nga sa ortega eh naka sub-3 solve ako, chamba, hehehe

practice sa anticipation, since yung algs eh OK na

malaki talaga nagagawa ng anticipation

hehe..ortega rocks..about 1 hour of practice lang sub 12 average na ko..haha.. ansaya..very intuitive pa yung pagbuo ng 1st layer.. pasensya na ah..guimond method tong thread pero nagaadvertise ako ng ortega..hehe.. lalang..dami kcng algs ng guimond eh..
