Hi! Bryan Manzana, 18, 2nd yr UP student, started 2 yrs ago with a basic layer by layer, bought cube from rubik site and adapted some easy fridich algos got to 40 sec best, lost cube (huhu) stopped for awyl den got a more xpensive cube with doggy faces (orig p rin naman) but poorer quality (hobbies and landes, promenade greenhills) hope to learn more here and chat with the nation's best cubers!!! more power!!!

ung sa rubik, maraming klase kasi ng mga cube dun eh... may assembled, may DIY na popular sobra since un nga pwde mong i-adjust ang mga screws (lagi tong sold out sa site, but sometimes meron din), at ang binili ko: blank cube with pvc stickers and lube. i didnt realize na maganda rin pla ang quality kahit di xa talagang DIY, naswerte lng ata ako sa higpit ng screws =p. madali lng ang pagbili, pero to pay, i used credit card. 10-12$ usually, pero doble ang gastos pag may shipping sa US, and triple ang bayad kung international ( my dad's friend from the US brought it here; i had it c/o him and shipping address to his US address pero the buyer name and stuff are mine) so at that time, mga 16-20$ ang nagastos ko

mejo hassle rin actualy. i havent tried ung international delivery kasi nga parang impractical na ung shipping price compared sa price ng item. dats why pinagttyagaan ko n lng ung 3x3x3 with dog pictures n nabili ko sa hobbies n landes. ikw pla, what yr u in? may org ka? revelation, im chinese so im in csa

i am a very irregular student.. lol.. junior na yata ako.. hehe i think ;p hehe kinabahan nga ako nung sinabing ang mga extended students daw ay damay sa tofi.. buti nalang hindi.. haha

bat parang ang onti ng classes mo? nu nangyari sa iyo? 2nd yr stud ako. i'm joining tennis UP this sem. wala pa akong sinasalihang acad orgs.

nakita ko na rin iyang sinsabi mong rubik's cube with dog pics sa faces...
actually nanggaling ako sa trinoma kanina para icheck kung may 3x3x3. kanina ko lang nahanap ung toys r us sa trinoma. tapos puro 5x5x5 lang ung meron dun. ung for 600 (compared dun sa hobbes n landes na 1.2k pesoses ata. rrrrrrr!) tapos meron din palang rubiks revolution, pero di ko alam kung ano gawa nun. ta's nung nagtanong ako tungkol sa stock nila ng 3x3x3's, bigla akong inalok nung salesman nung 4x4x4 nila. paglaruan ko raw. ayos naman nung sinubukan ko. lube lang kelangan para uber smooth na and sa tingin ko naman ay ganun din ang quality nung ibang sizes na ibinibenta nila. ubos na rin stock nila ng ganun (4x4x4). kelan kaya magkakaroon uli? sana asap. (haba na pala ng kuwento ko.)

wag kayong bibili ng rubiks revolution unless sobrang yaman niyo na at walang magawa sa pera niyo.. hehe nde kasi siya amusing.. nde siya natuturn.. tapos nakasulat dun, 6 games- yung mga games na yun ay nag rerevolve lang sa pag pindot na umiilaw na center.. tapos maingay din siya.. haha

someone who borrowed it lost it

it came in a little rubiks.com box just before christmas... its blank so i applied the stickers. btw, for each sticker there is already an applicator so i didnt just reuse one. came with a lube <---so damn amazing!!!!!!!!!!! im sure better than silicone.... sayang i was only able to use it twice and it was empty... PVC stickers din pla, comparatively dull-er in color than store bought but at least didnt peel off. came with an extra set too. it shaved my time from more than a minute (i think 1:20 +) to fastest 40 in a couple of months. and, my biggest regret is that i've never ever found out if i can remove the center caps and adjusted it, so i never knew really if its DIY. it might be, but i wouldnt know.....

it popped on some occasions though...

I loved that cube....

btw, that was december 05 i got it.

lost i think last year october....

man that's sad. pero ok lang anlaki naman na ng improvement mu ngayon e hehe.
