may nakita nmn ako sa ebay dati eastsheen na 3x3..

Malamang rip-off cube lang yun. Ginamit lang nila ung pangalan ng Eastsheen. Hahaha. I don't think they'll ever make 3x3's unless they come up with a different and more effective design. (na nagawa na nila sa existing cubes nila) Tingin ko kasi pinatent na ng Rubik's ung design ng 3x3 eh. Since kilalang brand ang Eastsheen di nila pwede kopyahin yung design ng 3x3 ng Rubik's baka magka-kasuhan pa. Yung gumagawa ng Magic Cube di naman big brand so di nila kelangan mag-alala na masilip ng kung ano mang pulis. Hahaha. Di ko alam theory lang. It would be so nice if ES comes up with a new and improved design for a 3x3.

Pansinin mo, the designs and mechanisms of the ES 2x2,4x4 and 5x5 are completely different from their Rubik's counterpart. Bawal kasi mangopya kundi....HULI KA! Hahaha....ayaw naman natin mawala ang ES sa balat ng lupa diba?

yun din ang dahilan kung bakit mas smooth ang galaw ng ES4 at ES5.. iba ang mechanism nila sa loob... yung 4x4x4 ko binaklas ko... iba nga yung loob.. walang spring.. pero madami maliliit na parts... kaya mas smooth siya... di mo siya maibabalik ng di nagtatanggal ng isang centerpiece...

Patented designs suck. Haha. You rely solely in one company for a particular mechanism and such and such.

Buti na lang at yung Olympic Cubes have a different design for the 3x3x3. And it's *drumroll* apparently speed-able right out of the box.

may pinagkaiba ba sila nung 3x3x3 sa TRU na shrinked o yung plastic lang yung packaging?

Since the 20th Anniversary Edition is being sold, I will try to update the info on the first page. But I will only do so after I have confirmed that no "old packaging" cubes are still being sold.

The 20th Anniversary Ed. cubes have been out for quite a while. I don't understand why this is the only time they came here. And as Makisumi said, they vary in quality way too much. Maybe that accounts for the various reactions by the buyers.

un bang Rubiks cube na binebenta sa cube4you.com aside sa mga DIY's nila. i mean ung rubiks tlga nila, that priced around $13.xx specifically ung wlang sticker..

do you have any idea if that cube is good? or is there any of you here owns like that... you know what I'm thinking right? i hope na sana hindi pareho lng sa TRU cubes, kasi mejo mahal pa naman yun.. awtsss coz i was supposed to order the new type DIY eh ang kaso narealize ko ung rubiks cube pala nila [the one mention above is what i refer to] ang nabile ko.aww hehe wala dinkasi plang stocks ang new type DIY..

I believe that the one sold in cube4you is the same that we're buying here. The cubes sold locally in TRU after all is from China, too. As far as Rubik's DIY cubes are concerned, the best cubes are still the ones from Rubiks.com. Dan Knights said in his personal webpage that as of summer last year, they have amazing cubes availabe there.

aww.. meron kasing TRU cube, hindi masyadong maganda.. like my experience, i got 3, and only one is good..[1 smooth and the others are hard, even though i did all the proper rituals to smoothen it..]

If i only knew that it was like this i would have ordered the DIY's na lng.. hehe anyway, i ordered the pink and the blue type C together with the rubiks cube[grrrrr] hehe.. sana maganda un... mahal kasi huhu. but so far my white type a [cube4you.com] is ok.. =)

hm, never tried rubiks.com but for future purchases.. i might with what you said.. thanks!

kasi may east sheen ako na 5x5x5, gusto ko po sana itry ung rubiks brand and watching comparisons over the net, e mas malaki ung sa rubiks, eto po ba un?

sabi kasi sakin ung classmate ko,. 2700 "daw" ung rubiks sa moa sa 'hobbies and landers ata ung name ng store,

mga tol!! yung cube ko na tig 100 petot yung kulay blue yung carton packaging.. sooobbrraaang tigas!!! haha but i added silicone (Mr Mckenic) dumulas siya.. pero hindi parin for speed cubing.. pang noob cubing parin.. pero at least dumulas kahit konti

i can do a 90 degree turn with just my pointy finger.. pero kapag tinurn mo siya ng dahan-dahan, ang tigas.. hahah

and wag niyo muna lube right out of the box.. try to turn muna ng 1 week para makaskas yung mga uneven surface.

also i have a ES 2x2, 4x4 en Rubiks 3x3

yung 2x2 ko nung pagkabili ko ang tigas ikutin. then i lube yung loob niya (pinaka internal sa ilalim ng bilog) then ayun! uber bilis ikutin! pero parang lumuwag yung cube pero pwede parin ipang speedcube.

yung 4x4 ko naman ok pa naman.. nagkamali ako ng lube sa kanya i used lube-40(parang wd-40 yata to) then ayun.. sumama yung ikot na parang pandikit ung lube pero after ko ibabad sa water na may safe guard then pinatuyo ko naturaly, ayun.. bumilis uli ikot.. but kelangan ko na ng stickers kasi namumuti ung sides.. hihih pero feel ko parang maluwag na rin.. yung isang side, pag hinatak ko ng onti, malaki na agwat niya sa katabi niya.

yung 3x3 ko na rubiks, pag hinawakan mo, feeling mo makapal yung plastik at mukang sturdy and kung i-turn nung una ko bili, medyo matigas lang.. pero pinalampas ko lang 1 week then lube ko na. ang maganda sa 3x3 ko is yung hindi mo na kelangan pantayin yung cube para mag turn ng isang side. kunwari ang algo mo is "Ri Di R D" then hindi mo napantay yung pagkaka Ri mo may naka usling onti, pag ikot ko ng Di, automatic na siya papantay. unlike 2x2 and 4x4 ko.. nag stuck pag inikot ng hindi pantay.

biruin mong nauna ko bilhin ang 4x4x4 at last ko nabili ang 3x3x3.. heheh natuto ako mag 3x3 sa 4x4x4 ko. siyempre may nakakainis parin na parity.. hihih..

yung 5x5 ba ng rubiks eh may feeling din na sturdiness at durability? at ganun ba talaga kadalas mag pop?

ako kasi hindi naman ako after sa speed cubing.. gusto ko lang bumuo ng cube. pero gusto ko 1 flick ko lang at least mag 90 degrees siya at madulas na cube. yung 2x2 ko kaya 135-180 degrees..

EASTSHEEN USER dn aq,. compared s Rubik's,. i prefer much the ES,. ang bigat kasi ng Rubik's,. unLike the ES,. un nga Lng,. mdaLas pngkkmaLang nBiLi Lng sa BangKeTa ang 4x4x4 q,. sob...

Break in most of the time pag bago cube yon madalas gawin just do some twist and turn over and over sa cube to lose in up before mo i lubricate silicone spry... Eastsheen cube most of the time lose na yon lubrication na lang. yap mas magaan siya sa rubiks pero i stil like rubiks than Eastsheen

yep yep yep... best way tala na i break-in yung cube, for great performance when lube...

sabi din ng iba tapat wag muna padulasin agad ung rubix damit ang silicone spray. tama keo dapat magcause xa ng frixtion ng cube to cube. wag na gumamit ng sand or sand paper... dbest ung wornout cube then lube.!!

aw.... beginner pa po ako sa rubik's cube.. pero 45 sec po ang speed ko... may nagbebenta po bang rubik's cube na malambot dito sa cebu? nanghihiram lang kasi ako ng cube e... may cube ako pero masyado matigas kailangan pa ng "pau d arco" para kayanin... ahehe
