Re: Suggestion: Please refrain using txt speak
I think this has been answered many times in other threads na... At first I actually am not against txt speak cause I thought that we all understand those... I haven't thought that we might have guests here that couldn't understand txt speak and so the argument was settled by me agreing with that rule...
Pero existing na po to sa ibang thread... Ayun lang po

You CANNOT avoid text speak. The freedom of the human race overcomes this possibility. You cannot stop them, though most people do prefer to read non-text speak, but to people who use txt 4mat 2 type in da 4ums, its up to them to stop it or not, and as long as it isn't offensive, we can't actually call that a violation, can we?

Guest here might not understand what we are trying to say.
We're not the only one who post/read here, others too

Re: Suggestion: Please refrain using txt speak
I seriously hate Texter's jargon, so I never used any shortcuts in any form of texts I write.....
If you observe, foreigners seem to never use those shortcuts.

I agree with you Brian, as you can see if we type in text format. How would they understand it?
Tell m!!
Re: Suggestion: Please refrain using txt speak
kasi instead of simply just reading and understanding, you'll end up analyzing pa what this person is trying to say. and sometimes this also causes mis-communication. well, for me its more proper to completely type words. leave txt speak to your cellphones. refrain from using txt speak

Re: Suggestion: Please refrain using txt speak
Yes, guests/foreigners do post/visit here and that's why those people who has the capability to speak in english must try to do so with all their effort, but if they don't feel doing it, I think it's their right naman siguro not to do so or mag taglish nalang... Kasi first of all they might not know that there are actually visitors here and they are not informed yet. Also, this is "Philippine" Cubers Association and so who would thought na may foreginers dito? Yung txt speak nga lang should be avoided as much as possible... Hehe,, that's for everybodies convinience...
