Frustrated photographer rin ako dati. When I started out, I used the fat Sony Cybershot. Most of my shots are of Intramuros at night. Kaso yun nga... Walang pera for a decent cam and my Photoshop skills suck so di ko talaga kayang ma-improve. And a lot are really critical about photos kaya ayoko na lang mapahiya. Haha.

Will you be displaying them in a formal exhibit? Pang-WOW Philippines na yung ibang shot eh. Advertising Cebu and the rest of the South. Ang galing.

Not really, just very passionate. Kung marami ka namang cube hindi naman ibig sabihin na mayaman ka, you are just very passionate over it.

Sony Cybershot pala, okng ok na yan. There are a lot of ways to be good at something, its just like speedcubing. Actually, hindi nman required ang photoshop skills in photography, meron ngang ibang pro photographers dyan na against sa digital post-processing. Post-processing is just an unavoidable consequence, its not a necessary one.

Im still working on that, magkaroon ng formal exhibit, but not these shots. Layo layo ko pa nga eh, meron talagang shots na masabi mo na pang WOW talaga. Kung sa baga sa speedcubing, sub60 pa ako at gusto ko maging sub20.

Last three, simply perfect. Lalo na yung 2 skyscraper. I don't know kung sinadya mo yung angle of elevation nung shot pero sobrang sakto such that kita mo yung reflection nung lights nung isang tower dun sa isa. Nagkaroon tuloy ng 'endless reflection' effect.

Salamat bro! Edited yung iba, I just contrasted some a bit, meron din shinarpen. Yung iba nman purely what I see through the lens, hindi edited. Yung mga frames at watermarks hindi yun counted sa pagtamper sa quality ng photos, so my iba dyan na hindi ko inedit yung quality ng photo pero nilagyan ko ng frame or watermark, simply to add interest. Salamat ulit. Oo, tama ka don sa skyscraper na pics, sinadya ko yun.

sir..digitally enhanced ba tong mga to? i mean..photoshopped ba?

wala lang..medyo interested din kc ako sa photography..but since student pa lang ako..i don't have the budget to invest in quality cameras and such..saka na ko magttry ng photography pag kumikita na..

Edited yung iba, just minor enhancements. I just contrasted some a bit, make sepia to some, meron din shinarpen etc. The last one in the 3rd batch is a composite so definitely its photoshop work. Yung iba nman purely what I see through the lens, hindi edited. Yung mga frames at watermarks hindi yun counted sa pagtamper sa quality ng photos, so my iba dyan na hindi ko inedit yung quality ng photo pero nilagyan ko ng frame or watermark, simply to add interest. Hindi nman talaga ako purist, and I do not post-process as if it were a necessity when it comes to photography. Neutral lang ako and it depends on my mood. Although I'm an advocate of Photoshop when it comes to graphic works. Thanks bro for your interest in them!

Thanks bro kung nakakarelax po sayo'ng mga ito. I'm gratified.
I can't specify kung magkano kase tatlo ang cam ko eh.
I used a point and shoot/basic cam na Canon Powershot A80.
I also use a film SLR, Canon EOS 66/3000N.
And a vintage film camera, a rangefinder to be exact, Yashica Minister (1962).

Those are the only cams I use for my photography. Still on the plans to buy a DSLR. Hirap kase magdecide at wala pang budget.


Salamat mga ripapips sa mga comments. And one more thing, third most important lang yung quality ng cam, fourth yung technical knowledge (exposure & gadgets), second is the basics & composition. The most important is passion. P&S/basic cam lang nga yung most of my shots eh kase mahal ang film.
And fifth yung post-processing if you are not a purist.
