Graphic Designing

Pra po sa mga graphic designers.

Aside from being a photographer, I also want to be a graphic designer. Ano po ba ang requirements pra maging isang successful graphic designer? Im in an Advertising course, I know some layout design principles, typography, etc.
Ano software na dapat talaga? Yong ginagamit talaga ng professionals? Dapat ba talaga alam mo lahat ng software? I only know Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, ImageReady, InDesign (CS2 at CS3), kunting Flash, at kunti rin sa Corel Draw. I also know how to use Adobe Premier Pro. Sapat na ba yun, meron po bang dapat pa?

yap.. 1 ang adobe and other photoshops... minsan kailangan mo ding mag drawing ng sarili mong design... hirap yun ajijijiji

dami mo naman alam gamitin idol..

d naman siguro kelangan alam lahat pero mas maganda na rin ung maraming software ang alam gamitin.. para kahit san ka dalhin alam mo.. hehe..

btw, ung signature ko sa photoshop cs2 ko gnwa..
inentry ko sa "signature of the week" at chambang nanalo naman last week.

Wow! galing mo pre! turo nman kahit kunti.
Paano mo ginawa yan, pwede paki summarize? ok lang ba?

Hope this helps, Sir John. Diyan ako dati natutuong gumawa ng signatures for other forums. Ok ang mga topics nila. From photo post-processing hanggang sa mga anime and fantasy-themed na artworks, they cover. At in-depth at magagaling ang community na yan.

Basic signature making from a render. I don't know if mahilig ka sa mga ganito pero since graphic designing in general yata ang gusto niyong mai-master, well, isama ko na lang.

ginamit ko lang po ung basics ng photoshop.. inimprove ko ung colors by adding gradient maps at photo filter..

know first what you want...
kung print your oky with what you have right now...
but if you want to do web you need to learn flash and dreamweaver
kung advance web you need also php, css, blah, blah and all of that action script...
if you want motion graphics, video editing you need adobe after effects and premier...
if your a mac user you need Final Cut for video editing...

me im into print... i use all adobe softwares... (CS2-CS3)
i also teach graphic design before here in ortigas DIGIMAC...

Programs huh....
Mas ok kung gagamit ka ng Adobe Flash CS3...
Mejo mahirap siyang gamitin..
although natututo pa lang ako sa program na to.. pero masasabi ko na maganda talaga to sa designing..

Combining Adobe Flash CS3 with Adobe Photoshop CS3 may give you great Designz with Great Quality...

mejo nahuhuli na nga ako sa techn0logy dahil Flash Signatures na ang nauuso..

if you wanna have a certificate go to a adobe accredited school... i know there's a short courses on graphic design... i used to teach graphic design before...

Basics lang:
Software-Illustrator/Photoshop
Hardware- Decent camera, Writing Tablet, Well-calibrated monitor, Graphics card
Skills- Creative eye, steady hand, patience

If you want to go web- Dreamweaver/Flash
If you want to go deeper into web- PHP/CSS/mySQL
