Easy way to Learn F2L

I was reading through the forums and there was a post on F2L..

I learned doing my F2L here:

It's more of an intuitive way of learning F2L.
Since it is intuitive, it may not yet be optimized for speed. But at least one learns what F2L algs do.

How can i get fast at f2l? that's the part that really slows me down, especially the inspection thing...

Thats normal pajodaep. Before I have learned F2L, I can average a solve of sub60, but when I started learning F2L, my time increased to 1min 30, so I slowed about 30secs.

I learned the F2L on my own first, without aid from fellow cubers and websites, etc. Until I got used to it, I started to average about 1min 15, then 1min 10. It was then when I got algs from the website (www.cubefreak.com) when BOOM!!! sub45 average. When I got the algs, it was already easier to understand because I have already understood so much about the mechanics of F2L when I learned it on my own. So the algs was not really a memorizing case but some sort of guidlines or tips, more to understanding.

The inspection thing, or recognition will develop in time. Just look ahead every move.

yeah. same thing happened to me. i was at like the 30s average when i started learning f2l. then it slowed me down to 38-40s because i wasn't used to doing f2l. i started getting used to it then sub 30s etc to sub 23s.

i recommend www.cubestation.co.uk for f2l. the freespaces site that milkolate posted lagged my computer down... hehe.

Yeah, i forgot about cubestation, i got some algs there.

For the OLL and PLL, i really recommend you to try Van Noort's site. His algs is more to R U's moves, really fast to execute!

i usually stick with 1 or 2 sites because going around tons of sites for different algs takes alot of time.
