Got mine at Robinson's Galleria yesterday. Never believed in lubricating until now---this thing works wonders! It actually even reconditioned my one oh-so-hopeless cube and turned it into a way better turner than that of a newly bought. Great Stuff!

By the way, does Silicone wear off? If so, how long would it be for it to necessitate another session of lubrication? Thanks!

About this... I read (or watched) that Silicone Sprays that we should use on our cubes should be silicone based, not petroleum or atleast not containing petroleum particularly petroleum distillate.

If you read the details on Cyclo Heavy Duty Silicone Spray, it contains petroleum distillate. So...

Pero i think that's the purpose of the clause "it may". I used it on my cube but there was no apparent damage on the cube.

yeah. but as frost1017 says, silicone based though petroleum based does no damage to the cubes (so far?) :/

i've used both petroleum and silicone products on a national bookstore cube, sobrang laking difference, mas maganda talaga yung silicone lubricant, it turned the gummy national bookstore cube into a finger trick capable cube.

hmm... i bought mine at True Value (just got back to the phils) for like 350php and it states.

- silicone-rich formula
- water- based formula...

Where'd you bought it? Did you check the formulation?

BTW, the Silicone spray we are using is very good but the thing is... it contains petroleum distillate. FYI, me and Lester are using the same thing.
