FORUM MEMBERS RESPONSIBLITY

We are already near a thousand in less than a year now. This forum has been very successful though contains many flaws(sorry for that). PCA has started in aiding our growing cubing community to have a common goal of spreading the sport and coming up with good competitions. We started this thing up not with questions but ideas and initiatives. We started PCA conciously aware of information currently around the internet in regards to cubing.
We started this forum keeping in mind "HOW CAN I HELP PCA?".......
Can everybody ask this to yourselves before posting or even logging in?
Let's all be RESPONSIBLE!

oh yes oh yes. we don't care about the numbers. what we want are members who are willing and dedicated to help in the growth of the Philippine cubing community.

The most used statement in all of cubing:

It doesn't matter that you can solve the cube--what matters is how much you can give in solving the cube.

Marami na rin kasi ang wala naman talagang dedication. All they want is to look cool and proclaim that they are speedcubers without seeing the big picture that most of us want to convey. Sana talaga masipag mga tao para next time, sandamakmak na cubes na ang ii-scramble ko!

Do you use a specific algorithm to scramble competitors' cubes? How do you manage to pull it through w/o making mistakes? Or okay lang yun? I am dyslexic too and I am very much hindered by it. Can't even do a jnet scramble properly.

Though this is OT, I'll answer anyway. Haha.

Nope, no specific algorithm. I just squint. When I squint my eyes, the letters tend to 'straighten' out. I just look stupid, though.

And I rarely make a mistake sa scrambles. Haha. I don't know why. Seems like reading too many notations and stuff has lessened my dyslexic tendencies. Textbooks piss me off, though.

i think Jonathon is talking more about how random people just make random posts which is sometimes even unrelated to the rubik's cube.. i dont know though, but even thought thats not the subject, id like to bring that up.. i havent been posting much or viewing much on this site for a while simply because most of the posts now are just not interesting or repeated or have absolutely nothing to do with the cube..

now a days this forums is not that interesting because of many irresponsible members... posting in the wrong thread or asking a question that even cat can answer. sigh! im tired of sending private messages because of the wrong post, double post, too generalize post and unnecessary post( masabi lng na may ma post or hindi kaya pang papadagdag ng number of posts at tawaging loyal member) ... other members dont care about this responsibility. revive this forum and make it interesting again.

hmmm... i think it's just hard to control the posts because there's just too much members now. honestly, sometimes, i also get irritated when i see unnecessary posts, flooded messages, and repeated questions. but, come to think of it, we were once newbies here with too many questions. but that wasn't a problem before because there were a few members back then. before, i was excited to see new topics and new posts because there were a few of them. now, i get bored with too much topics, but i don't blame anyone. that's because PCA is getting bigger! and i think that's a good thing. i also think it's nice that the forum was redesigned, and more sections were created so that newbies won't get lost and topics can more easily be controlled. but yes, we must all be responsible.

opo I completely agree with you po kasi po we are all getting boastful we should be proud that we are a member of PCA and we should not be "mayabang" and we should keep on cooperating and help others if they have problems..........

yup tama kayo diya kuya jome , ako i like to teach cubing kahit sa mga pinsan kong bata kasi mas maganda bata pa lang natetrain na sila and im happy kapag may nagiging successful cuber akong tinurual example ang pinsan kong si lemuel manalo , tinuruan ko lang un and mas magaling pa sa akin , marunong pang mag bLD sub 3 mins waw talga, nakakataba ng puso im happy for being part of this community..

I agree. I help PCA by promoting the goal of PCA by teaching people who doesn't know how to solve the rubiks cube
