my name is Gina Uy, I am 10 years old, piniliit lng ako ng ate ko na sumali dito sa forum, pineke pa nga ung age ehh kasi bawal ang 10 years old, hehe,

The first time I solved the rubiks cube was last June, 2007. I learned how to solve the rubiks cube because my sister forced me to learn.
I am using the layer by layer method. I use this method because i don't want to use hard methods like the friedrich method.

My fastest time : 49.64
My average : 1:07:99
My average for the 2x2x2 : 38:34
I don't know how to solve 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 yet. hehe.

I still don't know if I will join the competition

practice lng yn. yung 50s average ko nga, ngng sub43 ng di ko namamalayan. tas ngayon, sub32 n ako. hahahaha. praktis, praktis!

OO nga grabe naman 49.64.. talaga bang .. beginners method mo .. yung gamit mo .. ?.. nkakapagtaka naman

Possible yan victor, me nga mka sub40 average gamit beginners method. Practice lang, mkakaya yan.

49.64 is already quite fast! You'll have many years ahead of you to improve. Don't be like me, nag-bakasyon sa speedcubing.

nice. buong pamilya, marunong mgsolve ng rubiks cube. hehehe

55secs ako with layer by layer. haha

ayoko po kasi talaga mag aral ng mahihirap na method kaya layer by layer lang ang ginagawa ko, hehehe, mabilis na nga para sakin ang less than one minute ehh. madalas ang time ko 1 minute 2 seconds,

di nmn mahirap ang f2l. makuha mo lng yung logic or maintindihan mu yung algorithms, mas bibilis ang times mo.

helo hopeless vain.. 5 mnths of playin d cube,n i average 1min 30 secs,,, usin layer by layer method!! nw learnin d friedriech... i knoe il do better!!.. comments nmn,do i rily have to memorize dos algrithms sa f2l??...

yes u shud... F2L is the very important part of CFOP.... pro dmo kailagan i memorized lahat! un importante lang n un madalas mong ma encounter!

crazy_talek, 1min 45secs ang average ko dati nung layer by layer lng ako. that was last year. and i don't know the OLL algorithms that time. the only OLL that i know is the OLL that is on the guide of magic cube(NBS). 3 to 4 months of practice, i chopped down my average to 1 minute. using layer by layer.
this late June, jerjero, my classmate introduced speedcubing to me. and also the CFOP method. nung una, sariling logic ko lng yung f2l. tpos ngrecommend c jerome n pag-aralan ko yung CFOP method s cubestation.co.uk
that site helped me a lot.

i read a reply of master jb cañares from a thread, and he said that di kailangan n i-memorize all the f2l algos. you should understand them.
