An unusual cubing experience in Hong Kong...

Nasa Hong Kong ako ngayon. Share ko lang tong experience ko. Hahaha.
Nasa store ako na maraming kaekekang Chinese. Naghahanap ako ng pouch para sa cubes ko nung nakakita ako ng mga cubes. Ibang klase sila. White, pero imbes na sticker, parang embossed na rubber. Mayroong plain color, fruits, numbers, and smiley faces. Haha. Tapos, humingi ako ng sample para itest. So sinolve ko yung isa. Tapos dalawa pa. Tapos tinanong ko sa saleslady kung may libre. So hindi na niya pinasolve yung isa. Tapos, umikot ulit ako. Kinausap nung isang saleslady ang kasama niya. So pinasolve ako nung isa pang saleslady ng dalawa pa. At walang libre. At least may thank you. Hahaha.
Oh and FYI, the cube is $39.99 each, or 3 for $100. Conversion is P5.40=$1.

Wow. I'm curious. Post ka naman ng pics nung sinasabi mong embossed cube... Maganda ba yung cubes diyan? Mala DS/DIY/UDIY or whatnot?

Mahal eh... $40. It was somewhere in Tsimshatsui... I forgot the street though. Wala akong pics. It's nothing great. Maganda lang ang stickers dahil nakakaaliw. And wala akong masiyadong pocket money kaya di ako bumili. I'm back now in Manila. We went to Toys 'R Us and I got to buy... Rubik's DIY ($150), Rubik's Keychain ($40), and Rubik's Mini Cube ($37). Grabe, siguro lahat ng cubes na dapat pumunta sa Pinas ay nasa HK. They had about four or five carton stands with cubes in them, plus a table filled with cubes. Meron ding hexagonal 4x4x4 ($139) and 5x5x5 ($149), pero mas mahal lumalabas ang presyo doon. Ganda pala ng Rubik's DIY. Pop-ng-pop nga lang... Pero super ganda ng Rubik's lube. Yung maliit na tube siguro kaya makalube ng mga 20 cubes.

Really? 20 cubes? Well, I used mine and I only got to use it twice on my cube. I don't know. Probably because I spilled too much

Guess ko lang. I used it like silicone. Hahaha. But I also lubed the core. Grabe sarap.

or pakibili diy, keychain and mini cube xD... i will pay with interest...

Aun. I tried it and I used up the whole syringe for only two applications. Since I was not careful back then, I reckon it can last like 3-5 applications tops. It's small, unlike a whole can of silicone spray
