Dream School, College, University
So guys, considering that we like cubing so much, I think it's also a must that we prioritize our academics...
What school/s would you want to go to if given the chance. Please, no talking about the 'magical school' a.k.a. Hogwarts.
Mine would be the following in no particular order of preference:
1.) Yale
2.) Brown
3.) Princeton
4.) U.C. Berkeley
5.) Stanford
6.) UCLA
7.) Michigan State
8.) Johns Hopkins

Re: Dream School, College, University
I've always wanted to go to Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I think if I was able to get there, I wouldn't have been the slacker I am now. Haha.
But back in HS, I passed a scholarship exam for Nanyang Institute of Technology in Singapore. Too bad I got kicked out of the interview. Haha.
My dream schools would be (in order):
1. MIT
2. Cambridge
3. Oxford
4. Harvard
5. UCLA

Re: Dream School, College, University
I don't fancy Harvard that much. Don't get me wrong, Harvard is a GREAT SCHOOL but I still prefer Berkeley because of its Business programs.

Re: Dream School, College, University
@Jonathan
I'm not into business. More on the liberal arts and sciences. Haha. Berkeley has intense business programs, although Harvard has a well-founded one. Law, though, would have to go to Harvard. No qualms about it. Haha.
@dalton
Insane couple, I must say, though no insult intended. That's pretty solid academics. Where they'd meet? At some convention of academics?

Re: Dream School, College, University
I always wanted to study in Harvard University... Any school will do but it should be private and must have great teachers that may inspire their students...

@eloise
Hindi naman siguro 'yun matatawag na colonial mentality.
Baka may idea lang talaga sila kung papa'no 'yung education sa mga colleges na pinagsasabi nila.
Kaya nga "Dream school, college university",e. peace
By the way, why didn't you guys mention Stanford University?
(I have no idea about foreign education..)
Pagkakaalam ko si "Mr. Bean" yung number one professor sa stanford University...hehe
ako, walang dream school, eh.(dream career lng.hehe)

Re: Dream School, College, University
Yup, hindi naman yun colonial mentality. UP, without even a little bit of hesitation, is not one of the best in the world. Not even close. We're just the best here. Haha. So I don't have any dream schools here.
Gusto ko rin sanang idagdag yung University of Tokyo, undoubtedly the best university in Asia. And so close to Nakajima, OMFG. Haha.

Re: Dream School, College, University
@jesus-paolo... I did mention Stanford. Check my first post.
@pointless... isn't it spelled Berkeley (unless there's another school named Berklee)
I've been checking for several articles in our Univ. Library and graduate school Library about business programs and came across several other schools with 'good' curricula.
Some of them are:
UNLV (Nevada)
Harvard (duh!)
U.C. Berkeley (Woohoo!)
Cal-State Fullerton
Stanford (uhmmmm.... duh?!?)
Princeton (Ivy League... 'nough said)
Yale (Ivy League again...)
These are American schools and I'm not saying they're the best but they do qualify to be in the top. Most of the schools mentioned above are no-brainers but CS-Fullerton and UNLV? Wow! I only know those schools from playing NCAA College Hoops. I never thought they'd be deemed worthy to be mentioned with Ivy League schools as well as Stanford and UCB.

I'm sorry, I overlooked your post... Maybe I was just sleepy last night...
Whatever school we are in, the important thing is we learn.

Re: Dream School, College, University
@Jonathan..
Yes it's Berklee. It's another school. It's n independent college of music. One of the best I might say. Dream Theater was formed here. So is Slipknot.
