Anyway, pag marunong ka na ng 3x3x3 LBL, madadalian ka nalang sa megaminx. You don't have to learn any new algos. Yung dating cross magiging star na ngayun, parang ganun yun. Pero ang dapat mo nalang siguro matutunan ay yung kung ano unang bubuuin, then what's next then up to the last layer. Ang hirap mag explain through words kaya mas magandang umattend ka nalang ng cubemeet this sunday

megaminx can be solved very intuitively...try mo munang kalikutin..medyo tricky lang ung last layer..

yung last layer maraming similarities sa LL ng 3x3..example..ung "dot" sa last layer may corresponding case din sa megaminx..parang ganun ba..

bago lng ako sa megaminx... LBL..^_^

megaminx?! kaka claim ko lang.. hmmmm...

LBL method ko + f2l... efective xa... pero nahihirapan ako dunsa part na may 2 edges+ 1 corner.. pero f2l parin ang method dyan according to my analysis then it worked!

intuitive lang talaga yan! if alam mo ung 3x3, no prob! chiken feed!

sa Last layer, sune lang gamit ko after orienting the edges... switching+ sune (J perm o L perm) lang gamit ko nung na orient ko na ang Last layer... di ko kasi alam tamang method...

Ano bro, na-solve mo n b?
I just got my megaminx last week...and i solve it only once..it took me 12hours..no joke.
But they are right, LBL and F2L works and sa Last layer pwede din si LBL ni pogobat.
But....hindi siya ganun kaparehas sa 3x3. The problem I encountered in megaminx:
- is when i already solve the 1st 4 sides, it's hard to get the last 2 edges of the 5th and 6th sides. ilang try din ako bago ko sya natsambahan ( I use the cross aligning of the LBL in LL of beginner method).
- and next problem is the cross/star alignment, corner placement and orienting sa last layer....this is the part that kept me 11.5 hours solving (btw, i try to solve this othercube íntuitively', like someone's advice....)....DNF ako. hu hu hu.
- so for the last layer, i ask na lang si youtube...kakahiya na kasi mag-ask d2, may iba kasi galit na sa newbie questions...

P@!%....umubra pa din skin itong megaminx na ito!!!2 solves and it took me 1 hour, each!!grrr!!

Intuitive. Me konting twist lang sa last 2 corners. You can try youtube pero sa tingin ko mas effective parin kung intuitive. Thats how I figured out how to do the Mega, Pyra and Pyra Crystal eh. hehe ^^

WOHOOO!!Congrats bro at na-solve mo na din sya....he he he,.
Ask ko lng, since ba nung June, ngaun Sept. 29 mo na sya na-solve or ngaun mo lng na-post?
Sarap talaga ng feeling kapag nkk-solve k ng puzzle, lalo na kung wala nagtuturo sa iyo or yung ika nga natin eh, intuitive solving.
CONGRATS ulit...target ka naman iba pang odd puzzles. he he he.

yup... ang lumalabas saking cases are:

3x3x3_____________________________megaminx
1. dot_______________________________pentagon ba yun? lol

2. L________________________________W ( pentagon + 3 rays na magkakatabi)

3. horizontal line_____________________Y ( pentagon + 2 rays magkatabi tapus may 1 ray pa dun sa kabila.. basta makakbuo ng letter Y)

4. Cross____________________________Star (pentagon + 5 rays)

so bale same lang talaga, almost
