CUBE TYPE MATRIX -- (a-f) with type F review

As I browse through the Cube 4 You pages, there's around 6 types of cubes for the 3x3x3 category -- A, B, C, D, E , and F.

I've tried to look around the forums for general descriptions of the each type's description is, all I can confirm is the Type D which is the YUGA-UDIY-YJTOY cube.

What type does the Dian Sheng fall under? The original Rubik's?


I just need some clariification, need help here in making a page that explains what each cube type is described. Thanks guys \m/

ang alam ko..TYPE ABCDEF DIYs are all IMITATIONS..so ang original RUBIKs DIY..walang TYPE un..kasi siya nga ung ginagaya ng mga TYPE something diys.. medyo magulo pero sana may naintindihan ka naman..

ang alam ko sa core/screw set nagkakatalo yang mga yan... sa type A.. may 2 na washers..type C. isa lng pero malapad ata ung screw.. type D(which is DS/YUGA) sagad ung screw.. di mo na masisikipan.. indi ko alam ung iba...(please correct me if i'm wrong) TY ^_^

Type E po yung diang shen..
Diansheng White 3x3x3 Cube (e) - ito po yung nakalagay sa cube4you....

alalahanin ko lang yung sinabi sakin ni emz kanina...
type A is... yellow core... metal screws... includes 2 washers... and yung boinner part ng corner cubies ay kailangan pa ikabit...
type B... mejo hindi ko naintindihan... pero parang... pang-display lang yata... *YATA*...
type C... plastic screws and washers...almost the same daw as type A...halos yun lang pinagkaiba...
den yung type D... is yung yuga cubes daw... though hindi ko pa rin talaga ma-differentiate ang difference O_O...
and type E yata is... may smaller pieces pa na dapat ikabit sa inner part ng cubies... hindi ko lang alam ang tawag... O_O

hindi man malinaw pagkaka-explain ko... sana kahit papano nakatulong... hehe

let me try my version... although correct naman kayong lahat...

Type A...

pinakamaganda sa kanilang lahat... the screw... washer... spring... core... even the plastic used maganda talaga... pero lately dami lumalabas na Type A plastic pero maganit at di masyado madulas... sa WHITE me nakakita ng tatlong klase... some reacts well sa silicone and some plastic reacts negatively... the best in CUTTING CORNERS... almost NO LOCKUPS... and if the tension is good... it will NEVER pop.... the best there is... no question asks... although kailangan maganda pagkaka-assemble mo...

Type B...

screwset is good... core not that good... and the PLASTIC used... grabe ang pangit... i tried all my best to make my TRANSPARENT to be a good cube for a little speedcubing... pati kay sir EMZ's WHITE DIY... grabe... it react very well sa silicone though... super sa dulas... pero ang pangit lang talaga ng plastic... good for display lang talaga...

Type C...

well one thing for sure... the screwset and core used in this type is very good... almost as good as Type A's uses... the only thing differ them with Type A is the plastic used... parang babasagin ang Type C... if lube and break-in correctly and properly... mas maganda pa syang lalabas kaysa sa Type A... kasi Type C plastic react so much sa silicone... so sa Type A kailangan maganda pagkaka-assemble mo para lumabas na maganda... samantalang dito sa Type C... you can't make a mistake... kahit pabara barang kabit... best pa rin result... although medyo ma-LOCK UPS... it can also cut corners that well...

Type D...

YUGA sa 9spuzzle.com... UDIY dito sa ating bangketa... at Type D nga sa cube4you.com... well very good cube... especially when bought here sa mga suking BANGKETA vendor natin or sa DIVISORIA mismo... also react so well sa silicone... good cube for beginner to intermediate user... kulang lang ng cube na to is cutting corners... i have one from 9spuzzle.com $6.99... and several from my suking tindahan sa divisoria... 11 to be exact... none came close to what 9spuzzle.com sold... siguro yung sa atin since smuggle daw... siguro mga di rin nakapasa sa quality control... at dito nga sa atin tinapon... so tsambahan na lang kung ang makuha mo eh maganda... pero this cube is very good... it can't be beaten... especially the PRICE... P30-P50... what more can you ask...

Type E...

kailangan pa ba explain... DS cube... DIAN SHENG cube... dito kami nagkandarapa ni KRISAKIKO... heheheheh... :D:D:D... another smuggled cube sa atin... REACT SO GOOD sa silicone... grabe... konti lang ilagay mo... super dulas na... although medyo ma-lockups din sya... maingay pa din... the spring easily loose when used overtime... pero da best cube talaga... since it is also CHEAP... P50-P100... okay na... the CUBE recommended for OH...

Type F...

ah ... hmmm... well... this cube is.... you know.... hmmmmm...

sorry wala akong cube na eto eh.... at baka next month pa me makabili... kung meron kayo alam about this cube... share nyo then edit ko tong post ko...

and Another cuber... i was off pla sa type E.. ngaun ko lang napansin na diansheng un.. anyways.. here is the review and additional notes:

Type A newtype 3rd model
-- yes, eto ung nasa video ni pestvic.. unpopable daw.. pero it is popable.. hindi nga lang SUPERPOP.. what will happen is just lalabas lang ung edge... What is the secret? meron syang railings sa loob.. may small pieces na ikakabit para sa railings(serves as guide)...

Advantage
> hindi nagsusuper pop ( actually there is one time pla na nagsuper pop and it was during kingpsyzors marathon.. ask him how he did that)

Disadvantage"s"
> hard to assemble
> if one of the mini railing guide was disassmbled inside the cube during a solve... 100% sure.. you'll get a LOT of lock ups...

*i used mine for solving by feet... since pwede maluwag and still not superpopping


Type E cubes: diansheng

>Same performance lang to our diansheng... mas parang mas makapal lang un plastic nila... and it is paint... not stickers...

agree ako. ako isa lang DIY type A ko. puro type D (yuga) and DS na cube ko pero halos parehas lang sa type A ee. yun nga lang malaki ang yuga kesa sa type A. pero mas ok pag experimentuhan ang tension ng yuga kasi mura lang. diba diba, kaya ayun.

I think (my opinion) that Type F is especially created for speedcubes who love to mod their cubes.

For example, you want to put more weight on your corners or edges, you can easily put putty inside the edges or corners then pop in the cap.
