Suggestion: ANTI-POP SOLUTION FOR DIY USERS
We all know what the main problem about using DIY cube and it its of being a "POPSTAR" cube ibig sabihin laging nagpopop and i hope this thread helps DIY users.
At last i discover some modifation tecniques i mean pinag-experementohan ko yung DIY cube ko and it has a good outcome.hindi na nagpopop ung cube unlike before i just did the ff.
1. Tangalin lahat ng spring sa core
2. Pipiin ang spring by using plies
3. press it hard, xempre magdikitdikit ung wire ng sping
7. Then ibalik na ulit sa core.
NOTE: * Be careful while pressing the spring (baka tumalsik)
* Oklang pag napasobra yung pagkakapipi kc pwede pa namang banatin ulit

Re: Suggestion: ANTI-POP SOLUTION FOR DIY USERS
This is my opinion about that DIY:
Yes, I think the topic starter here was the person who introduced me his "Pressed Springs" DIY during the Rubik's Cube Open 2008. I tried it and the performance is good, the performance still performed like an "Unpressed Springs" DIY.
No matter how hard or fast I do triggers(R U R', U R', and many more) the cube never ever pops.
I also noticed one thing, you cannot twist the corners by your fingers on the "pressed springs" DIY.

Re: Suggestion: ANTI-POP SOLUTION FOR DIY USERS
tried this and it works
instead of using pliers use vise grip
or yabetubo yung may adjustment
mas madali iipitin mo lang tapos iwanan mo after 2 mins
balikan mo tapos na compressed na siya

Thank You Very Much
1. Remove springs from the core
2. Squeeze spring using pliers
3. Press it hard, of course wires will be squeezed
4. The wires should overlap one another
5. Use a knife to make the squeezed wire overlap one another
6. Then compare squeezed spring to a spring that you haven't squeeze yet, to know if the spring reduces length, it should reduce 0.5cm.
7. And if all springs are squeezed, you're all done. Weeeee ^_^
8. Then assemble it. ^_^
Awww. Nosebleed. haha

but the springs went back to their former state. i tried several
times but to no avail.

Re: Suggestion: ANTI-POP SOLUTION FOR DIY USERS
hey as i mentioned sa mga other thread that i reply about this...
loose spring means good in cutting corner and almost no lockups... lockups produce by the users... but unfortunately it is not that smooth...
by pressing screw or reducing the screw... pero i suggest pressing the screw... you loosen the tension... then smoothness of the cube... but... be aware... you will also encounter lockups... and cutting corners will reduce significantly...
but it is the cubers preferences... so iba iba talaga tayo...
you will gained a good to very good smoothness... depends syempre sa pagkaka press ng spring...
