im new at speedcubing.. share your last layer methods...

ano po ang inuuna nyo... orienting of LL corners bago itaas si yellow or itaas muna si yellow bago orienting ng corners.. ito po kasi gamit ko..

bringing up ng yellow using sune.. then.. orienting of corners using this
R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2'

then the usual edge rotation..

pashare naman po ng methods nyo...

Hindi po ba na yung bringing up yellow is the same as orienting?

Yung R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2' for permuting/switching positions of corners eh... I just tried it now.

Anyway since I'm using F2L + layer-by-layer method, para sa last layer ganito order ng akin orient edges (bringing up yellow and forming the yellow cross), permute/position corners, orient corners (bring up yellow) and then yung edge rotation na sinasabi mo.

ahh ok.. so what i really mean about orienting the corners is switching the corners.. but before that bringing the yellow up...

bakit po yung sayo.. dlwng beses mo bring up yellow??

1 for edges 1 for corners.

ako 1 time bring ng yellow up.. the switching of corners using the alg above then the edge notation.. done..

Ano po bang ginagawa niyo after niyo tapusin yung 2nd layer? Corners na agad? Di niyo na binibring up yung yellow sa edges?

i will bring ALL the yellow up ( that includes the corner and edge pieces)

the switch the corner pieces using the alg above... (without messing the yellow colors facing up)

then the edge rotation ... done

Ahhh... How many algorithms did you memorize for bringin all the yellow up?

1 alg using the sune ....

wla pa ako masyadong kabisa.. kasi 1 week cuber plng ako...

but my method is pretty fast enough.. average 2 minutes cube solve

Wow, naaffect din ng sune yung edges? Akala ko for corners lang yun...

ahaha inde mo ako magets... im using sune for bringing ALL the yellow up.. wla ako pakialam sa colors ng corners at edges... bsta yung yellow nasa taas lahat..

= 1 alg (sune)

then papantayin ko yung corners using the alg above (corner permutation)

= 1 alg

then edges nlng matitira... na inde ayos (edge rotation)

= 1 alg

Ahh ok... Saan niyo po natutunan yang method na yan?

When I was still a beginner, my methods for the last layer are the following:

These are for Orientation of the Last Layer
R' U' F' U F R - by performing this algo, affects the UFL, UF, UFR and UR stickers

F R U R' U' F' - this algo affects the UFL, UF, UB and UBL stickers

R U R' U R U2 R' - affects UFR, UBR and UBL stickers

For Permutation of the Last Layer, I use:
R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R' - this is 'U Permutation' clockwise cycle of UL, UF, UR edges

R B' R F2 R' B R F2 R2 - permutes corners UFL, UFR and UBR



I think my suggestion will make you much complicated. But I still want to post.

To know the image of the last layer before performing an algorithm, undo niyo na lang, or pabaliktad.
