FORMAL HEAD-TO-HEAD CHALLENGE IS ANNOUNCED

Craig Bouchard (Canada) vs. Matyas Kuti (Hungary)

Former Word record holder for Rubik's magic, Craig Bouchard, will attempt to, by the end of 2008, hold the WR for magic, single and average, beating Matyas Kuti's records.

If, after that, Matyas wants to go on head to head, then Craig is fully ready for it, but in 1 year or less, Matyas Kuti may hold 2 less world records.

i don't really get goosebumps here. what's a rubik's magic anyway? Why not challenge matyas in the bld? craig bouchard is really good in the bld. i wish matyas can really have a good competitor in the bld.

magic is popular in other countries except here... maybe in the future people from pca will start ordering other twisty puzzles. then, we can have competitions under those categories

If Craig follows his challenge, he plans to set the World Record in an Official competition which will technically make the challenge official. He is shooting for the Canadian Open 2008 will take place in Toronto, Canada next spring/summer. He may also compete in competitions before and/or after the Canadian Open which will make his attempts all official. He has one year to complete the challenge

Maybe Craig should have challenge Matyas on BLD. They're both good at it. And maybe it's about time na may makalaban si Matyas ng enthusiastic person.
