You can't take it off which means you can't adjust it.

Re: tru cube screws..
bka nga 1year buhay pa DIY mo.. dba ..preferable pa xa png speedcubing.
pwd din nmn TRU png speedcubing kea lng base on my expirienxe ill go for DIY..

Re: tru cube screws..
@eaU^
it might be within your experiences, but we shouldn't generalize it. Some people loves store-bought cubes more than DIYs. Nakaji, for example.
Anyways, I believe the terms DIY, TRU Cube4you, and Rubik's cubes are VERY loosely used in terms of meaning.
I suggest these definitions: (comment if you please)
DIY means Do-it-yourself. I believe people automatically assume that this is the Cube4you cubes we buy from the internet, when it isn't necessarily is. It means it's a cube that when bought, is disassembled and you have to assemble it yourself, more likely than not it should have screws instead of rivets. This can go for any brands. Rubik's, Taiwan brands (NOT Cube4you solely, remember 9spuzzles sells exactly the same cubes as Cube4you), the Korean Edison Cubes, and some brands which do not have names or are not popular.
TRU cubes - They are actually Rubik's brand store cubes, which means they are pre-assembled and are made using rivets, therefore they are unadjustable.
Rubik's Cubes - any Rubik's brand cubes, be it pre-assembled or DIY.
We can also generalize cube4you cubes as Taiwan or chinese cubes.
Also, we should be specific on what we are talking about. simply saying DIY should imply that you are referring to all kinds of DIY's. If you say a statement like "DIY's are better than store bought" means you are referring to ALL BRANDS of DIY, not just taiwan brand cubes. So this implies that you DO know and believe even other DIY brands are of better quality than store bought cubes (unless you want to be specific and say cube4you/taiwan DIYs)
what im trying to say is, when we talk about cube qualities, we should be really specific in which cubes we are referring to, to avoid confusions and misconceptions.
