If a post requires a fix (crack, key generator, patch links or serial numbers) to make it work, also include them in Your post

POSTING

Before making a post use the SEARCH function

WARNING SYSTEM

A maximum of 5 warnings can be given to a member of this forum.
These can be earned by breaking any of the above rules.
If u Get Banned, It depends on the reason, we let u back after some time! so in other words we decide if u can come back
If You redeem yourself, You will lose the warnings through time.
Ways to get a WARNING or a BAN:
Arguing with a MOD/LADY MOD/ADMIN They have the warning and ban button's, you don't.
Reposts (one mistake can happen, if it happens often you will receive an official warning)
Requesting hacking/cracking/phreaking/flooding/spamming utilities
Advertising other forums (if advertised "too much" a warning or ban will be given)

Flame wars (both people involved will receive a warning)

Going off-topic can get you warned at moderators discretion
Posting links with files uploaded with @pinoyspeedcuber's password somewhere else (link stealing) (automatic ban)

REPORTING POSTS

Please report dead/duplicate/offensive posts by PM only
Always give link to the thread you are reporting
Do not post anything in the thread itself - this is considered bumping a dead topic or contributing to an offensive thread
In the case of spammers - do not reply to the thread or give them any attention apart from reporting by PM.


HOW TO BECOME A STAFF MEMBER

Do not ask anyone of the staff if you can become a loyal member/eac+lame encoder/gfx crew/moderator/lady mod/admin.

yeah. recently, and im not quite sure how, the members are growing, probably exponentially. i kinda am disappointed how everyone asks the exact same questions right after they register. i view the scrolling box of topics and i dont see anything worthwhile to read. i know i may sound like someone who doesnt bother to greet people, but still im missing having to click a lot of topics from the scrolling box. before i get to click around 10-15. now just 3-5.

im the kind of person who reads those very juicy details of something, or contribute if i know i can help... anyway

Yep. People should find it standard protocol to read rules. How do you expect to memorize a shitload of algorithms if you don't even have the patience and discipline to check out a simple set of rules?

After Diliman Open 2008, this will be flooded with a torrential influx of new members. Kapag nangyari yun, the forums will be totally littered with redundant posts. It doesn't help that after the coming competition, this site will definitely be watched by WCA itself, seeing as how this is the core cuber community in the country.

frankly, well i joined this forum as stated last july pa. and yaeh, i like the early people better, though im not saying that the new people are bad. its just that almost every post i find useful or interesting when pca was young. they were set to plan for the first competition i think. but now, iba na...

its not that im targeting people because they are beginners and call for help everytime, but its that they dont set out to search for topics that are there already. its common umm... well not courtesy but... good practice to search for it.

i have only 150+ posts as of now, and im a member for nearly 6 months. i post seldom, others went ahead of me in number of posts in less than 2 or 3 months after joining. some, even though posting regularly, are great coz they post good posts. i wish everyone can be that way if ever they want to post regularly, not for the sake of being well-known or getting a higher level of membership status.
