metronome - isang device na pangset ng tempo. pede mo siyang iset kung gano kabilis (beats per minute o bpm) tapos tuloy-tuloy lang siyang mag-iingay (yes. you've heard it right. mag-iingay) at that constant beat.

in cubing... well.. ganun din silbi niya. pangset ng tempo. pagsinet mo siya ng 60 bpm tapos every time na tutunog siya you do one move, you are actually doing one move per second. do the maths for 2 moves per second and 3 moves per second. ginagamit siya sa f2l. para masanay kang mag-multitask. for a metronome, go to www.metronomeonline.com. pero pramis, nung sinubukan ko siya nakakabaliw.

so kaya pala ng mga musicians gumawa ng fingertricks

it helps you stay consistent with your movement meaning less stops.

Hmm..I have read about this in Jason Baum's site. He advices cubers to use metronome in F2L or shall I say execute your moves with tempo...to avoid pauses while looking ahead.

buti na lang po may thread na ganito ... nagtataka rin po ako kung ano ang metronome eh... =))
