You should also take into account how your hands will react to cold air. I was practicing piano the other day, the air conditioning was on in the very small room and my hands were getting stiffer and my notes were getting softer. Should be the same with cubing.

That's true. When I cube on malls where the temperature is usually lower, my cube seems to be greased with dried petroleum jelly. Coldness might cause changes in how the lube act on the inside of the cube. And the hands seem to tremble especially when you're pressured.

sharing an experience lang... we were in a cold place with my friends (eastwood)... then one of my friends told me to show them a solve... sub 30 ako dahil sa cold... but they were still amazed:)) but i think i could have wow-ed them more if we were outside the mall

based on experience din (true story to ha):
A few weeks ago, as I was playing the cube in the office(ojt), and the 3 large aircon is tured on very high(15-16degrees celcius each) on our little room and it is raining heavily outside, my hands were really getting stiff and the cube is like lubed with glue.. lol. every turn feels sticky..

conclusion:
It really affects the way you cube when your in a cold place.

siguro dahil rin sa cold, giginawin ka, therefore babagal movments ng kamay mo? Not sure pero I think it affects a bit. As for me, siyempre pag nilalamig ka, nanginginig ka, and so babagal ka talaga. Makes sense diba? nyahaha

Nanood ako ng movie kahapon dala ko ang cube ko. Nung sinubukan ko mag Y perm ang herap mag finger tricks kumpara sa lugar na di malamig. Naninigas kasi ang fingers eh.

But I noticed that after cubing in a cold place for some time and all the negative effects of it, once you go to a warmer place (of standard room temperatire), the performance of my cube somewhat improve. It became easier to turn.

ya i had a weird logic experiment...i put my vaseline lubed cubes in the freezer....it felt like a type bbbbbbb cube
