This algo is called niklas and it has the same effect as sune in the OLL (qualify: OLL). Both the niklas and the sune were invented by Lars Petrus. The advantage of Niklas is that it has 7 moves as opposed to the 8 moves of sune. However the disadvantage of niklas is tha it uses both the L and the R moves, that's why the sune is easier to execute. I use the niklas in solving the last 2 centers of the 5x5.

Double post jaypee. Baka masilip ng mods to..yikes. Yep, I find the sune easier to excecute..the regrip of the niklas probably takes longer than one move of the sune...

welll i use that algo R,U',L',U,R',U',L in my lbl .... but i never try to use it in my OLL.. ^^

i use it a lot as i am a petrus user... sa step3-b, sa oll, even sa 2x2x3 builing.... pati anti-sune, but never i use the niklas, compromised execution speed sa lesser number ng algo kesa sa sune, isa pa isa lang namang turn ang difference eh... kaya sune parin..

@ brian: yes, 8-quarterturn moves for sune.. 7 moves if you count U U AS U2.. okay lang naman 2 hands sune as long as ur comfortable with it..

kala ko kung anong sune...yun pala yung ginagawa ko lagi sa 3rd layer...hehehe! ^^

natatawa ako sa mga terms na ginagamit minsan sa hitsura ng top face...may fish, tangke, thumb, siete basta marami pa yun eh...hehehe! pero ok rin kung yun ang madaling way para maalala yung mga gagawin na algo. x]

Mas maganda nga yung R U2 R' U' R U' R'. Kayang- kaya i- execute yan ng isang kamay habang yung isa nakakapit lang sa F at B faces. That is my fastest OLL.

old thread na toh ah... hehehe.. ngaun sune at anti-sune na move ko, di na ako nagamit ng niklas... mas mabilis kasi ixecute ung sune, saka mas madali ang move kung iiwas tau sa regriping (pagbabago ng hwak)
