I agree to everyone who says being opposite-color neutral has advantages in doing cross, but there's something I'd like to point out.

It's better to do 1 color cross if you're going for training to get the shortest solution to any cross. If you always did opposite color crosses, then all you ever get to solve are easy stuff, and the hard stuff, when it comes out, you wont be able to do with a short solution.

So if you still want to go for opposite-color, I suggest you get used to 1 color first, then if you practically can do everything in a short time, then you go for opposite-color. By then you will have no problems at all.

Yellow top color ko kasi white yung una kong binubuo. Kung hindi siguro yellow yung opposite ng white sa original na Rubik's, siguro hindi yun yung top color ko. Basta white yung nasa ilalim.

similar pala ito dun sa nabasa ko opposite color solving. pero nung sinubukan ko mejo natagalan ako sa pag buo.
Ang sabi nila kaya ganun para daw iwasan na itrack natin ung white sticker, at tumigin nalang sa edge piece plus ung remaining stickers nung corner piece. ewan ko pero mahirap talaga siyang gawain.

White or Yellow cross. Pero usually white. It's easiest to spot. Classmates ko usually Green or Orange though. Weird nga. Haha. Nadidisorient ako. Pero may colorblind classmate ako na nagawa ang first layer using logic alone. Interesting. Haha.

nung ginawa kong0 oddzon cube ko nag try ako mag neutral., kaso 2 days lang nd base na ko kasi ng 30 ang time ko., butti nlng medyo sanay na ko pero parang bumagal ang trigger ko bakit kaya??? kung kailan malapit na matapos yuung oll... hmf... bakit kaya???

petrus user ako, i turn to being color neutral white/yellow opposite colors... sa normal petrus kasi dapat di ka neutralized sa colors kasi corner/edge pair ang una mung hahanapom, but then i noticed na doing so e nakakaconsume ako ng 2 to 4 secs sa paghanap ng detour sa 2 colors ng corner/edge ko. kaa i turn being color netral to white as my bottom. binago ko rin ang dapat na corner/edge sa edge/edge with white/any color pair (except yellow)... nung ginawa ko un bumaba ng sa 4 secs ang 2x2 building ko na dati ay 6-8 secs sa non-neutralized color...

wajah..ako DAPAT lage yellow top ko..kc pag hindi,inaabot n ko ng mura ng nanunuod skin,.nalilito kc ako pag ibang kulay..tska ang hirap din kc kbsdo mo n ung nksnayan mong color combination..n_n

hhehehe, yan ang hirap sa mga color neutral sa fridrich ^_^.. hehehe most of the petrus users are not color neutral... hehehe...

i suggest to try white as base and yellow at the top. kasi mas plain at madaling makita ung yellow lalo na pag nasa oll and pll kana. napakaimportante na clear ung pagkakaiba iba ng kulay pra malaman mo kaagad ung case. useful din siya sa f2l para alam mo na qng ano ang mga excempiton na piece sa f2l pairs mo.

Visible po tlaga ang white and yellow kaya recommended siya sa F2L!!

Hirap maging color neutral. Mas maganda para sa akin na may preferred color kasi nakakalito kung papalit palit (unless Genius or Newtype/Coordinator).

Tama ka po, mahirap, ako nga pag me pinabubuo sakin ung klasm8 Q tapos ndi base white, nalilito ako.. Sometimes nga i mess the entire cube eh.. Ahehehe!!
