How fast can a 2-Look OLLer go?

I'm doing a 2-look OLL and i'm hitting 34-44s. IMO, kung alam ko ung algo for the yellow "dot", mas OK. Nagiging 3-look OLL kasi pag yellow "dot" case, mejo time consuming din.

Thanks for the algo bundat! I'll study a lil OLL algos after I memo'ed all of the PLLs. 2 PLL cases per week para masanay ung fingers ko mag-execute.

ako once nag 3 look OLL ako pero PLL skip, kaya naging 19.xx. haahaha.

teka ah. alam ko i will sound stupid, pero anong meaning nung standard deviation???

sa pag kakaalam ko ung standard deviation un ata ung pagitan ng mga times mo.. so for ex. ang times mo 12.00, 12.00 , 12.00
SD mo 0(zero) kasi magkakadikit cla ng time... mas mababa ung SD mag ok. kasi constant ung finger tricks mo at rcognition..

A 2-look OLL is unnecessary kung gusto mong mag-sub20. Pwede kahit edge-control (masmadali pa by a large margin at di mo na kailangan mag-aral) to cross-based OLL ang gagamitin mo.

Pero tama si Ken. Si Timothy Sun, pinatunayan na possible ang 3-look OLL at maka-achieve ng sub-15. He still knows the whole CFOP system, though.

Nung Diliman Open, I was still using 3-look OLL, at naka-average ako ng 36.xxs yata. Intuitive rin lang kasi F2L ko nun so talagang mabagal. Over time, bibilis rin yan. Ang naging barrier ko sa 2 at 3-look, 28s. To get lower, I had to memorize the whole CFOP. So far, stuck sa sub-21. Kaya yan. Sipag lang.

2 look ako s mga di ko alam n OLLs s ngaun pero dati sub30 inabot ko nung 2 look kelan b un? nung unang cube meet ko ata nun nung 02-24-08 meet. c swordsmankirby magaling tlga!

I also do 2-look OLL 60% of the time and I am sub17. Harris Chan was a sub14 when he was doing 2-look oLL.

i'm sub 15-16, still some 2-look OLLs

yeah one more thing dapat alam mo ung klalalabasan n OLL pag nag F U R U' R' F' ka (or the other) ganun technique ko heheh

2 Look din ako, sub-30. Important yung dot OLLs para kahit anong case lumabas 2look lang lagi kaya minemorize ko na kaagad yung 2 dot cases. Tapos yung 2 edge flips, then the rest of the cross cases. Umaabot ako ng sub 24 pag LBL gamit ko with my 2look OLL and 1lookPLL. Haha.

Try the sledgehammer trick. Sobrang ok nun. Yun lang ginagamit ko nung Open eh. Preserve all edges at the last F2L slot. Definitely a lot faster than just doing the transforms.

Ayos yun ah, parang sa ZBF2L. Diba ganun yon? Last F2L pair tapos orient LL Edges? Hehe, pero mas ok parin Full OLL.

I think what Jome is talking about is what we call "Last Layer Influence". That is when you insert the last corner-edge pair, the last layer edges will be oriented. that is the same with the VH System.

me, i decided to go back to some 2-look OLL's, kasi mas komportable ako dun, although memorized ko na naman lahat ng OLL's.

basta ba mbilis ka sa cross at f2l magiging 2ub 30 ka e... ako medyo may 2look... sub35

sledgehammer pala tawag dun... kala ko extended f2l... yun last f2l mo before insert will add some algs para pagtapos mo cross na OLL mo... ORIENT na then 7 oll na lang all CROSS cases ang kakabisaduhin mo...

yan ang ginagawa ko before... 16 cases lahat yan... 8 were mirror... 8 kabisado ko na at ginagamit pa rin paminsan minsan...

2 look OLL pag di ko bisado yun last f2l...

pero 29 OLL na kabisado ko ngayon...

actually 2 look OLL... just only 1-2 seconds... ilan beses ko na nasabi na to remove that 1-2 seconds i need to memorize all 57 OLL... so sabi ko... tangap ko na muna yung 1-2 seconds... then i will improve my F2L...
