DEATH OF A CUBE

Here's the story:

i just got out of Robinson's Ortigas (i was doing a search for DS, mf8, or the mythical White Rubik's DIY--> nowhere to be found).. solving my favorite TRU cube (it never pops, DIY characteristics[people have actually thought of it as a DIY] except for the adjustable screws,and it has brought me all the way to sub-25).. i was on my way home.. i just newly bought my MRT ticket then suddenly... BAAAAAANG!!! my cube pops out for the 1st time.. it spread in all directions (i had to pick them all up.. sad).. then i noticed the core... the center tile of my yellow side was chopped off... waaaaahhh... i was really sad (good thing my DIY's coming up and i have used the TRU cube 2days ago for the SC[Sunday Contest, Jarg no Jarging!!!])... REALLY SAD LAST NIGHT... coz it was the best cube ever.. better than jumel's black DIY..better than china cube..

but i must move on (drama ko ah .. haha).. pero feeling ko talaga at that time nung tntry kong buuin ang hopeless TRU cube ko.. i felt i was in the same situation like those TOY-ANIME-SERIES(Such as Lets&Go[Tamiya Toy Cars], Super Yo-Yo, Bdaman, Beyblade) wherein the protagonist loses his toy (like Joey of Lets&Go lost his Magnum) and is replaced by a new and stronger one (for Joey, he got his Victory Magnum..)... after using the stronger one the protagonist gets much better.. and so... though this situation is very much of a cliche ... i just thought that maybe il be much better, faster with my new cube this coming sunday.. hahahaha

Hehe, medyo same situation nangyari sa 'kin... Ung favorite TRU cube ko naman na lost thread, medyo nacra na ung blue face nya.... super sa luwag, hindi na makontrol ung pagpihit, sakto pa namang top layer ko ung blue face, hayzzz hirap pa naman ngaung makabili ng cube... RIP sa cube natin...

I feel for you too. Nasira din TRU cube ko nung saturday T_T. Haay, hirap pa naman maghanap (err magkachamba ng meron stock) ng TRU.

mine yung 1st cube ko na tRU din ganoon din pero its stil okey pa naman madalas na rin nag pop up pinag retiro ko na naka dis play na lang siya.

Dude.. nangyari ganito dati sa cube ko.. na chop ung parang neck nung centerpiece.. kaya pa yan gawin dude... pero pag sinolve mo sya later.. medyo with ingat na

Hay, this happened to my cube as well...on the orange piece.. At first I didnt mind it cause the cube was still working fine...then one day....hay... sumabog din...and what's worse is that di ako yung nakasira....hay...and to add insult to injury..one corner piece flew into a mossy fish pond in school and now it's lost in oblivion..oh and to put the cherry on top of everything...i just replaced the stickers with C4Y stickers...sayang...sayang na sayang...hay...

nangyari na saken to with my very 1st Rubik's Cube (TRU Cube)...
binili ko pa namn un after 1st Phil Open 2007...
sa TRU Metro East...
cube of firsts ko nga un eh...
c ADMIN lester pa nga nag-lube nun...
so sad nasira ung center piece nung i tried to lagari it...
(ayan kc, balak pa palitan ng core)
tsk, tsk tsk...
well i got over it nung dumating ung white DIY ko...

well.di nmn siguro.. kasi may diy n ko.hehe.. di ko n mxdo gngmit ung TRU ko.. sinand ko knna. (nainspire kasi ko kay mr dijae.)

natakot ako baka masobrahan(like kay kuia dijae)
pero di naman..ok nmn xa.hehe..

im sorry for your loss. my condolences.

thanks guys... napalitan na agad cubes ko!!! i will have a total of 4 new cubes (or more, if i wanted to) in 3 days.. here they are:

1 neon green UDIY (stickers are more durable than DS but bad color scheme)
1 white DIY (are there any other color for DS?.. they have the right color scheme but super-pangit ang quality ng stickers)
1 black C4Y DIY!!! (C/O kuya lester, sa monday ko pa makukuha kay ynajatrice)
1 big 3X3X3 (bought it in DiVi for 75php)

but WTF nakapunta na ako sa tutuban mall pero bakit walang 70php ?

anyway, i think i will have very big pile of cubes in not more than a month (i plan on collecting every color eh.. maganda yung UDIY colors pero neon green lang nahanap ko)... hehe
