TRU Trinoma cube is UBER rough!!

I bought it last week and just opened it tonight. It's very very rough! It's rougher than the national bookstore cube. It also has darker stickers. What if the competition cubes are like this?

Can I still use this cube for speedcubing. Ang sakit sa wrist!

oh yep. i'm using a TRU cube actually. Yung tig-200 ang isa. most probably the same as yours. just lube it well. lubing is not enough though. sand it too. pwede siya for speed cubing. i use TRU cubes coz i don't have a diy yet.

how do i sand it? as in sandpaper?

mas maganda po kung gamitin muna yung cube ng walang lube for 2 weeks saka lagyan ng sillicone mas maganda po ang resulta kesa bago pa lang ang cube tapos lagyan agad ng sillicone ^_^ Suggestion lang po

yup.. ganun po talaga sa umpisa ^^. gamitin mo lang ng gamitin para ma-grind yung mga parts na masikip ^_^ tapos bago mag apply ng sillicone dapat punasan muna para matanggal yung mga powder sa loob hehehe mga plastic yun na tanggal. ^_^

is there a shorter way na hindi masakit sa wrists? pwedeng lihain (sanding)?

just twist n turn mo lang mga 1-5 days heheheh

well actually if you read the guidelines ng TRU competition, bawal ang sanded and/or lubed cube. what kind of a rule is dat. pano kung naturally mas smooth ung nabili ng isa compared na sobrand higpit ng iba. madaya tlga

FYI - ang gagamitin na cube will be provided by TRU, 5 Brand new 3x3x3 cube.... Problem lang dun is malas nun 1st 5 solver...

hindi naman talaga totally malas yung first 5 kasi sobrang tagal bago maging smooth ang TRU cube kung walang lubrication. pero syempre, crucial pa rin na ma-break in yung cube.

wahahaha....buti n lng ung isang nbili ko s TRU medyo malambot.....pero 1 lng ung mlambot s 3 bnili ko......wahahahhaha.....kc ung dalawa sarap itapon....pero ok lng d ko nmn un ginagamit 4 cubing eh....gnwa ko lng siamese......wahahahha

maganda tlgang gwin sa TRU cube eh gamitin muna ng ilang days or weeks then tsaka mo i-lube....ganun kc ung akin. ok nmn sya...kristine turo mo nmn ung pag gawa ng siamese...

siamese, triamese cube check myo un you tube account ko sa pag gawa ng fused cubes... search nyo sa youtube simplengsutil makita nyo un part 1-3
