Jome's BLD Corner
To keep everything clean, this post will be updated time and again about my BLD solves. I already have a speed solving post somewhere and seeing how organized it is that I post updates there, I will do the same here.
The purpose of this post is simple: ask for help and teach at the same time. I am not a good BLD solver just yet. At the time of this writing, I only knew how to BLD solve yesterday.
Just to be clear, I find Pochmann's approach interesting. So if I sound a little off with many BLD solvers here, please do tell me if there's a better way to do a certain solve.

BLD Solve #1:
Status: Solved.
Scramble orientation: White on top, green on front.
Solve orientation: White on top, red on front.
Scramble: U2 F R' D' B2 U' L' R2 D2 F' B' U2 L'2 R' F2 D' F2 R L' B'
Edge solution:
1. LB
2. BD
3. UF
4. LD
5. FL
6. UB
7. RF
8. RB
9. RD
10. FR
11. re-orientation, UR and UL. (correction by benjediman)
--> simple enough, just one cycle, lots of T-perm though
Corner solution:
1. FLD
2. DBR
3. RBU
4. FUR
5. BLD
6. FLU
7. LUB
8. DFL
9. RBD
--> simple enough too, also one cycle, lots of difficult Y-perm setups
===
Pardon if I'm using initials because I still can't grip PAO method. This was memorized in a purely visual manner, with lots of tapping and hand position memorization.
Memo time: Approx. 2 hours
Solve time: Approx. 7 minutes
====
Thanks to Bryan Manzana for taking the time to teach me. If by chance you read this, suggest some more practical approach. Also other BLD solvers, suggest more methods and/or approaches.
Until the next attempt. Thanks!

Re: Jome's BLD Corner
that's great u got it haha! btw @ edge #11, that would be just orientation we call parity to cases in which we need to swap 2 edges and 2 corners in this solve, none continue practicing this, and someday we will integrate into hybrid then full 3 cycle haha! sabay tayo sa pagsisikap BLD haha

Re: Jome's BLD Corner
oh btw, i think # 7 corner doesnt need to be written...
edit: coz its the buffer

Re: Jome's BLD Corner
Stupid terms. Haha. I hate it when this happens. Thanks.
Yun rin plan ko. I will practice set-up and memo, then jump immediately into hybrid 3-cycle. Haha.

Re: Jome's BLD Corner
I just put it there to know what to do... Pero, yeah, it's just adding confusion to the solve... But, hey, it works. Haha.
Re: Jome's BLD Corner
oh okay haha! great! so remember, pochmann is a great starter method, but its cons are in memo, and whenever stupid correctly positioned but wrongly oriented pieces come up

Re: Jome's BLD Corner
Yeah. I keep on imagining those crazy orientation cases. This one is a rather optimal Pochmann solve dahil it covers almost all perms. May J, T, Y, and may orientation pa. Basically, good example but not really realistic. Haha.
I will skip 2-cycle when I've mastered this.

Re: Jome's BLD Corner
ok haha! so yeah, i'll tell you what i did after. i found out about a method where only t perm is used, both for edge and corners. i believe its pochmann's wayyyyy back original method. but the site has added something else: edge n corner orientation. why? because its freakin hard to setup for corners using t-perm. the edge orientation is a plus, makes it easier.
then it snapped me. the method separately permutes the edges and corners. so that's orientation, permutation of edges first then corners, or viceversa. so i thought: what if i integrated edges and corners in just one t-perm? that would be like 3-cycle in a different way. so i tried it. and yeah, sometimes it worked for me. but tell you what: setup is sooooooooooooooo hard. there's the setup for corners then the setup for edges, t-perm, undo edge, undo corners
so after that i thought: why am i wasting time integrating edges and corners, when its easier to setup 2 edges plus one buffer in the u-face with a u-perm? that's when i started 3 cycle take note that the mentioned site has a different way of edge orientation than that of macky's site, noted in the middle edges. that's why i might teach different to people compared to macky learners

Re: Jome's BLD Corner
So after all is said and done, we're going there. Haha. Damn. I have to master this first so that I know how to memo and execute setup and undo moves, plus perms.
Paturo na rin nun kapag may oras. Haha. Lintik na page ni Macky yan. Too wordy.
