cycle decomposition algorithm&corner orientation(3cycle)

can somebody, especially those people who knows 3cycle very well, explain how will the cycle decomposition algorithm will work with cycles greater than 3?

im kinda confused

kunwari meron kang cycle of (abcde). pag ginawa mo ung cycle na (abc) mawawala ung bc/masosolve ung bc. matitira sau ung (ade) na cycle. kung ung cycle na (bcd) naman ung sinolve mo, matitira sau ay (abe).

may kinalaman ba yan sa commutators? parang ganun kasi ata pag kakaintindi ko sa commutators dun sa sinabi mu neil. hehe.

Corner Orientation...

Para madali ituro do these moves to your cube:
R D R' D' R D R' D' U D R D' R' D R D' R' U'

Tignan niyo UBR corner, kailangan iflip counter-clockwise. To flip a corner counter clockwise, do D R D' R' D R D' R'. Makikita mo na yun lang ang nagalaw sa U layer. Ngayon gawin mo U' and nasa UBR naman ngayon kailangan iflip clockwise. Para sa clockwise use R D R' D' R D R' D'. Basta yun lang ang gagawin. Ilalagay lang sa U layer tapos dun ioorient by using the 2 commutators:

For counterclockwise:

Kailangan pagkaginamit mo clockwise gagamit ka rin ng counterclockwise so orientation is in pairs... Or kung halimbawa tatlong clockwise pwede rin gamitin mo yung clockwise 3 times.

di ko alam kung related sa commutators iyan eh. pero ang pagkkaintindi ko, ang isang 3 cycle ay parang 2 na 2 cycle. so technically, pag ginawa mo ang 3 cycle na (abc), para mo ring ginawa ang (ab)(ac). iyan ata ung reason kung bakit ung 2 latter letters ung nawawala sa 3 cycle.

try mong gawin ung Ax3, where A = (R' D' R D)x2. babalik k sa original state ng cube mo. this means pedeng mong gawin ung 3 na A's together with Us para makaorient ng 3 corners NA PAREPAREHO ANG TWIST/SUNE-LIKE . pede cgurong gamitin ung sune kaso, i rereverse mo pa ung edge-cycle na nangyari dahil sa sune

feeling ko mas ok kung gagamit nga ako ng mga sune-like algos to orient the corners

anong silbi ng 3-cycle kung paisa-isa yung orient ko ng corners

the 3-cycle/2-cycle refers to PERMUTATION. tapos since commutators gamit for orientation, laging by pairs ung pagorient. ung first half ng alg, may ginagawang effect sa isang piece (eg rotates it ccw) tapos ung next half does the reverse effect on another piece (eg your next target piece is rotated cw).

so far nagreresearch pa rin ako kung pano mapapadali ang buhay ko sa corner orient at sa memo method

CO is in 2's or 3's. Pwede ngang gamitin yung Sune algs pero may gagawin ka pa sigurong edge perm para bumalik sa dati yung permutation.

Pagmemo numbers nalang siguro muna tapos after a while kaya mo na without numbers point point nalang..
