What 2x2 method do you use?

I'm using the 3x3 method but i really want to learn Guimond but i dont get it. What are the other good 2x2 methods?

im using guimond pero di ko pa xa ganun ka master. 2 look OLL and J perm and E perm ang gamit ko lagi

it says there that if i want to be very very fast... i should learn that method. but if i only want to be very fast... i should learn guimond or ortega... the one that i use is somewhat like a simplified version of ortega. so does it mean that it is as fast as guimond?

di ko alam kung anong method eto... pero nakaka sub10 ako... tsamba lang pero matagal na yun... iniwan ko sya dahil sa 3x3x3...

First Layer... OLL (7 cross)... PLL (J and Y perm)...

yun lang... anong method po to...???

yup. guimond and ortega isa the best if you want to get fast, watch yu nakima's vid solving 2x2. he use ortega and guimond. sub 5 ang average nya. mejo complicated lang pag aralan kasi mejo madaming cases. ang guimond meron 16 cases, ortega nmn 6 cases. kaya minsan nakaktamad. pero astig un.

layer by layer ba ginagamit mo? then ortega yun:P =))

i use the normal 3x3x3 solve. finish one layer then do the algo F R F' R' F R' F' L and if all are matched. you can finish the whole cube in 13 or 14 solves. pero if ever, hindi, just keep on doing the algo until nasa tamang sides na. that's what i do

kung gus2 mo ung super bilis try mo guimond... madaming cases pero mababa ung move count ng mga algs.. mga maximum 7 moves ata pero madami cia... kung ayaw mo nagaral ng algs fridrich method k nlng kasi kabisado mo n un.. bibilisan mo nlng ung recognition and execution ^_^

My fastest average in ortega is 6.50 (75 solves) i think. If you really wanna be fast/ learn everything. There is no ONE method that rocks, every situation. Sometimes, a scramble best fits Ortega, sometimes, CLL, Guimond, etc. If you master everything Erik Akkersdijk has, you will be able to reach his times.

I just use the fridrich method. I get meh times with it though so I am going to try Guimond. I also don't get how you move a 2x2 fast. I keep fumbling with it.

do you use Eastsheen? if you do... then you should do fine..
i just put a little silicone inside mine.

i'm learning the full ortega and some guimond at the moment

magkaiba ung 2 (ortega and guimond)... according to Erik mas ok ung guimond (makakaaverage ka below 5sec, when mastered)...
