Guimond and Ortega Method (2x2x2)

ako nga... from FRIDRICH with finger tricks eh sub12... dami ko kilala isa na si marccube... sub10 sa FRIDRICH... bangis ng finger tricks nya at recognition sa first layer...

then from fridrich to ORTEGA sub10... bilis... 1 week palang din me nag ORTEGA...

BUT... from ORTEGA to GUIMOND... sub8... although may inconsistentcy... practise na lang... especially recognition at look ahead...

@ the joker.. i had a feeling na mas mabilis talaga ang guimond..kumbaga petrus:ortega fridrich: guimond.. kasi heavier on algorithms ang guimond..so naisip ko..probably mas mabilis to kasi mas madaming cases samantalang ortega halos intuitive lalo na sa 1st layer.. magsswitch din ako sa guimond balang araw..pero i think ortega muna para sa RCPO.. para makasub10 average naman sa rcpo..sana..hehe.. tamad kasi ako magmemo ng algs..i don't think matatapos ko lahat ng algs ng guimond.

my 1ng pll ang wala sa method ng guimond sa link ni kuya jonathan...

@jolo... yeah praktis lang talaga... ortega and guimond are almost the same for speed...

pinagkaiba lang nila is the first step... much faster ang guimond sa pagbuo ng first layer and the opposite layer... and you can predict pa the opposite layer para alam mo na gagawin mo sa 3rd step...

hirap explain eh... pag nagkita tayo cubemeet pakita ko sayo difference ng ortega at guimond sa first step... makikita mo dun lang lamang ang guimond sa ortega... the rest pareho lang po sila...

@ thejoker : sige po..pero di pa ko nakakapunta sa cubemeet eh..haha..pero in case pupunta ko..ikaw po agad hahanapint ko..haha.. eniwey..magsswitch ako sa guimond immediately after RCPO..

masyado kayang nakakalito ang guimond..almost same lang kac ang table 1 sa table 2 sa step 3...pero ok xa kac pagnagawa mo n ang step 1 at step 2 alam mo n agad ang lalabas kung anong step 3..wenks! kakalito b?ahehe!fastest time ko sa ortega 5.68 pll skip un..6days cubing palang ng 2x2...pero i know some guimond na...

guys, naisip ko lang na mas maganda yatang mag-optimize ng algs sa ortega method (applicable din sa guimond) para sa less cube rotations

kumbaga, "if you see it as is, solve as is"

mas maganda ang times natin pag ganun

baka maging sub-5 tayong lahat

so kung may suggestions kayo para sa "multi-angled" algs ng mga cases sa ortega at guimond, post niyo lang dito

hay, mag-aaral na talaga ako ng Ortega Method after RCPO2k8... konting motivation na lang talaga siguro...

waaaah... my fingertricks is sucks in 2x2...

i'm using a hybrid of ortega and guimond... pero ortega first... kung may makikita akong i can use ortega i will use it first...

tapos check ko din kung may guimond na mas madali... pag meron i will use guimond...

pero kung wala me makitang ortega... i will use guimond...

i'm using the two faster method pero i can get my average lower than 8seconds... waaaaahhh... unstable sub10... grabe...

i saw sa isang cubemeet... si marcube ata... using fridrich... grabe finger tricks... sub10...

then i saw somebody solving 2x2... then i compared mine... grabe... bano fingertricks ko... it really sucks...
