@i.luv.cube

pano mo ginagawa yung LBL sa 5x5 mo? una mo bang binubuo rin mga centers tapos tredge then solve like a 3x3 cube?
LBL ko sa 5x5 as in "layer by layer" .. example, bubuo ako ng isang kulay ex. white .. hindi yung 9 centers .. as in 25 colors ng white .. then 2nd layer (lahat ng 2nd layer) .. then 3rd later (lahat ng 3rd), then 4th layer (lahat) .. then 5th layer .. 5th layer ko is parang LBL ng 3x3 iniba lang .. ayun .. pag me parity, (sa LBL instead na 3 wings lang maiiwan para tapos na, e dalawa kaya ayun) ,, pag me parity me isang algo ako . iisang algo lang pero mababasag ang 4th at 5th layer. pero after nung isang algo nayun, tapos na .. pag inayus ko, wala nang parity .. =))

Hehe.
Re: Tredge making sa 5x5
kakabili ko lang rin ng ES 2 weeks ago(my first 5x5)... first solve ko ata e nasa 20-30 mins...ngayon e around 15-20 mins... hirap pa rin ako sa tredges... parang dedges nga muna ako tapos saka ko ilalagay yung isang wing... anyway, mabagal pero masaya....

@Erika
Ganun din gamit ko dati. Galing mo, di ako naka sub-10mins dun. Hehe.
@oOsampleOo
Ikaw yung nagtatanong kung pano yung 2 i's diba? Well ganito, ilagay mo yung isang i sa UF, tapos yung isa naman sa DF in such a way na pag ginawa mo ang (Rr) mabubuo yung tredge na isang i sa UF. So pag ok na gawin mo ito:
[Rr B2] x5
Ayon, tapos 3 i's na. Happy cubing! )

Re: Tredge making sa 5x5
let me revive this again..
i need help. (jolo, enzo??)
do you guys pair up two edges when you can't see where the third one is? or you still continue looking..
btw. where can i get a good tutorial on tredges. I'm pairing them based on the pairing i learned on my 4x4x4. for the last 2 tredges, I studied algs from bigcubes.com. Could you guys post a link on where there's a good tutorial on tredges making.
many thanks

kuya paolo try arnaud van galen's turorial (as mentioned by enzo) kasi his method is really faster and really easy to learn.. parang..you pair up two centeredge+wingedge pairs at a time.. i understood this method in like 5 mins after watching the video..haha..

Re: Tredge making sa 5x5
@paololzki (and to everyone else who is asking me about the 5x5 tredge pairing method i use)
pao, when nag-race tayo, I realized from what you were doing that your slice moves are horizontal... in my opinion.. masyadong mabagal ito... kasi... for me, this is only good if the tredge pairing method you use is somewhat like 6 gen in 4x4... the E layer is used in making tredges... pero since chain method (1 tredge and 1 semi pair at a time), masyadong mahirap mag look ahead since you will have to be looking at the U layer and the D layer usually...
To sum it all up... I find it more efficient to do the tredges on the U layer... so that when you do your slice move, you do a l' or l or r or r' move. This is more efficient since look ahead will be easier.
I'm sorry if you think I am contradicting myself but I used to be doing what Arnaud Van Galen does but I switched to this one
this is also what Erik Akkersdijk (Big Cubes Master) uses
here's a link
part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6hmvCbNkpg
part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iIjaNlpeF4&feature=related
this what I do... if any of you have a better idea for tredge pairing in 5x5 or if you don't agree with what I say, please share

thanks enzo, I actually know this myself. I've started practicing doing it vertically. This way it would also help me with even bigger cubes. (6x6 and 7x7). Thanks enzo although i'm thinking of using nakajima's pairing technique. i just need a good tutorial on how to solve the last for tredges.
